I hope so! I suppose it being an early Sunday KO and a tough journey will have a big impact but it being our first FA Cup Quarter Final in around 10 years I have a feeling big numbers will travel regardless!
We don't tend to travel well up north though.... I know it was midweek but only took around 3,500 to Liverpool last season and that was for a final and leading from the first leg. Throw in the Sunday early KO and like you say it being on TV I'm not sure it will sell as quickly as people think.
If it gets as far as Friday (ST holders with no aways), I will probably be able to hook you up. Don't think my 87 year old dad will be going to Wigan.
If I can take you up on that offer man that would be fantastic! Thanks very much. Would you be going to the game yourself to pick up the ticket if it gets that far?
I do rather fancy a trip to Wemberlee again. Can't make the game but FLT is attending on my behalf. So blame him. Vin
I am so looking forward to this game because it isn't a league game and has no effect on league position and we have a chance of a win, but mainly because it isn't a league game.
Got in (fairly) early on the Saints ticket site, bought my ticket and I've also arranged a seat on a coach. Not my preferred way of getting to away games (I'd rather use the train), but as we are driven by the forces of TV to be somewhere at Sunday lunchtime, I'll take what I can get.
