For those who havn't seen it, this is a campaign for Newcastle fans to bring scarves to the Fulham game on Sunday, and recreate the sort of atmosphere seen at Shearer's testimonial. The idea is it will help the atmosphere and make it more intimidating for the away side. So, will you be taking a scarf on Sunday? And how well do you think the campaign will be supported?

I'll take mine, I'm sure it will be well supported, looks fantastic when everyone does it.

Aye, we had a period under Roeder for a while when everybody did it and it looked great, but it faded away. Didn't the club give away the scarves for free? Can't see that happening under the Ashley regime......

But I'll bring mine along, no reason not to <ok>

Gave scarves away for free at the Shearer testimonial and then a cheaper one at the next home game followed by even more being given away at the COM Stadium at our following away game.

Seems to be a lot of support for it like. Hopefully it leads to a better atmosphere on Sunday.

Great idea, hope it goes well. The twirling scarves around the ground creates one hell of a spectacle and atmosphere. Love to see it linked to one of the repetitive songs so it goes on and on like the Englands No. 1 song at Shearers Testimonial tho obviously we need to think of a song to link it too. Maybe just the "Toon Army" chant.

TOON TOON, BLACK and WHITE ARMY - then twirl twirl adding the twirl into the chant and making it more impressive.

If the people in charge of PR at the club had any sense, or cared, they would see this as an opportunity to start the bridge-building process between Ashley and the fans. It would only be a small gesture but even the longest journeys start with a single step.

Saying that, they probably don't give a **** about fan relations.
