Hope as long as B Silva & Sane are in wrong sides.

    Switch we are doomed.

But Alonso always tries to assist opp regardless. That was a nice pass to Kun from Alonso.

Rudi awful. Could be due to Alonso again

Why can't you just enjoy the game without slagging players off ifs?

Make matters worse everyone jumping on AC for his mistake doh...

Ffs it was Alonso & Thibo who gifted B Silva there.

Guess Azpi is picking up all of Thibo's payslip

Not the system I would of picked to play this game. Not wise after the event. I said as much on my own forum before KO. We don't have the players for it. A bit blinkered by Conte or maybe a desperate relying on one of the front three to score on a counter from the'r own halfway line against six nominated city defenders. This way will always need a Drogba to work (or maybe a Crouch :) ) We are easy to manage as the set up limits us to only one way to attack. Wingback were never going to thrive but become peripheral fullback hoping to break. Still C'mon The Chels

City is dire today. thank fcuk our guys forgot how to play footy FFS.

Every single pass from Pedro, Will & Hazard finds a City player.

Clear as daylight - no player wants to play for Tony.
Tony delays his substitution in fear that we may actually get a result <doh>

Time to make a few changes - at least put a genuine target man on while the margin is only 1 or do we have to wait until City deliver the killer blow?

No Way. Maybe off the pitch but on the pitch is a little cry baby. I really have an intense dislike of Pep.

Can't fault the footie he plays though. Wish we did a bit of that.

    Now onto todays game:

Abject, Conte and his pragmatic football. To be fair we restricted their chances but we have absolutely nothing on top when we play 5 at the back against 1 striker aguero and let City stroke it about. However, as soon as we dropped 1-0 down, what i witnessed was shambolic. We needed to win today and we played for a draw. When we went a goal down i was hoping for some changes but nope, just watch City stroke the ball about and longball it to hazard.

Unbelievable that he didn't make 1 attacking change until the 75th minute and then 2 more in the last 5. All we did was watch city play and we didn't press at all.

Unfortunately, Fabregas had an absolute shocker so Stan can rightly pillorise him. I will say Fab was brave but other than that, constantly lost the ball with some awful long passes. Pedro much the same except it was his short passes although i will give him the benefit of the doubt that half the time was because he intercepted the ball himself.

This is why long term, Conte is not the answer if we refuse to impose our will on other teams

That was embarrassing. Was like watching the Chelsea pensioners, nobody even broke into a sprint. Fans who made that trip should be getting refunded.

77 minutes until a sub was made <laugh> I could see after 7 that it wasn't working. Honestly we should've taken the week off and prepared for Barca, waste of time the game today.

the sad thing is we should have played with some energy. We had a whole weeks rest whereas City had a cup final, a thursday match and one today and they still ran a lot more than us

    Careful !!!!
And we Penshioners would never line up with Hazard as striker, might as well sit him on the bench and play with 10 for all the use he is as striker.
We set up and played for a draw, not my cup of tea, and Fabregas was terrible, Drinkwater absolutely out of his class in our team but it was Christensen AGAIN that failed to clear the ball and led to the goal. That's 3 times in the last 3 matches the kid has ****ed up each time against a Team as good as or better than us. He needs a break and a chance to recover, in retrospect he is being pushed too hard and too quickly, his confidence must be shattered.
Gutless way to play in my book, but have some sympathy to Conte, he's run out of players.

He's like a ****ing broken record, even I have had a bellyfull of the drivel and sanctimonious self praise about his "insightfulness". Have you noticed there is never a single constructive criticism or suggestion just moan after moan and player slagging after player slagging.
Wonder what he does for fun??

Sorry if I offended anybody with my comments but he makes my blood boil. He has never been to a Chelsea game and what he knows about Chelsea you could write on a postage stamp. Typical modern age Yank supporter of a game beyond his comprehension.
