However we try and cut it, there is still good reason then for Kroenke to keep Wenger until season end at least.
As Tobes has said, they won’t sack him unless in the unlikely event he just refuses to go. But I’m sure he’ll be gone ( booted upstairs?) come summer.
He’s previously hinted that he’s not ready to give up management, so whilst I’m sure they’d probably offer him something I reckon his ego might drive him to move on and try managing elsewhere.

Let's say for arguments sake that you win the EL under Wengers management. I know it's unlikely but still possible. Does that save his job? If Wenger and the board do intend him to go at the end of the season though, then I can't understand why they don't just come out and announce that Wenger is stepping down at the end of the year. I'm sure if they did announce he was leaving, the fans would get behind him and the team, and he'd get a good send off. If they just let it go on as it is, and then he just leaves at the end of the year, or is sacked. Then its going to be a very hostile atmosphere for the team to play in, and Wenger will be getting booed in his final games as Arsenal boss. For all the years he's been Arsenal manager, surely he wouldn't want it to end like that.
This could be a new low for Arsenal. Didn’t see the first goal but that second was all a bit too Arsenal.
Yep, 2-1. Arsenal could still pull this back. However, the signs are there that Wenger's days are well and truly numbered. if this had been City, it would have been a rout.
Said on our board that we should announce he's leaving in the summer, and then like you say, fans would get behind him and and try and give him a decent send off. As it is, this continuing toxicity just eats away at us each week.
The late goal doesn’t need gloss over a ****ing hideous performance from Arsenal to that point Cech is finished as well, he’s aged badly this season. Has Iwobi got Polaroid’s of Wenger wedged up a goat or something? He’s absolute dogshit but seems to play most weeks
Brighton were ripping the Goon defence up but kind of fell apart themselves in the last 5. That **** on their LW has been ridiculously greedy or they could have had more. Half time came at a good time.
Iwobi and Xhaka are two of the worst regularly appearing players to play for arsenal since I started watching them.
Brighton will have to weather a 15 minute storm at the start of the second half. If Arsenal manage to score in that time, they'll go on to win this. If they don't, Brighton might be able to hold on for a draw. I still think Arsenal will get something out of this.
