I am tired of having to make the effort of detailing the horseshit in your posts and replying, because you have plainly placed both you and I on ideological opposites when it's only you carrying the ideological baggage.

    wow typical Astro <doh>

I've little patience for virtue signalling types who display pathological altruism, coupled with not even fully reading, or addressing the point of posts, in a fact-less ideological driven manner.

Typical remoaner pro(re)gressive liberal fare <ok>

Applying scientific method to journalism, interesting project. The mission is to apply as much as possible objective truth to what the media are reporting using analysis to clear the bias and provide fact oriented reporting.

    Only around since 2014.

It's patently obvious MSM can't be trusted and are now hyper partisan, even BBC is absolutely hyper partisan, Daily Mail, Guardian Telegraph, NYT Breitbart Fox CNN Wapo, all of it with readers mostly falling into two camps for the most part, with the rest unaware absorbing drones who don't even realise how biased and warped reporting is.

No I baited you cos you keep insulting lads so just have a care ok.

If I can draw that kind of reaction there's plenty of more intelligent and insightful keyboard warriors on here that'd go to town.

So as I've freely admired doing so maybe you could admit you are in the wrong to be giving both barrels (pun intended) to all and sundry who have a view even slightly different to your own.

Failing that there is a healthy prem board politics thread just choc full of people for you to go to town on. I don't go there myself but am told it's spicy and would welcome some fresh blood. All sharks love the smell fresh blood I the water lol

Frankly I will only repeat the point once more.

It's not your views it's your attitude to the posters on this board.

As I said just tone it down and post away.

    Business democrats
Nancy Pelosi's brother-in-law is given $737m of taxpayers' money to build giant solar power plant in middle of the desert
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...w-given-loan-bigger-Solyndra-solar-plant.html

Several solar scandals (massive scam boondoggles stealing tax payers money by the hundreds of millions) in the US. Here we go again.

The UK was also scammed into wood pellets
Money to burn! Disgraced minister Chris Huhne works for company that benefits from wasteful subsidies he championed while in office
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...rks-wood-pellets-supplier-Zilkha-Biomass.html

Biomass costs a fortune, sucks due to low energy density and creates a ****load of emissions.. total scam.

These are the amount of money the climate bollocks is worth, so when I hear "big oil" I laugh my bollocks off

Politicians are bent as ****, ALL of them

I actually rejected a position in a biomass company on the basis of the above. long terms its just substituting one thing to burn for another. The amount of energy required to convert biomass into usable material either in wood chip burners or by steam explosion is huge.

I don't think it is about efficiency its about political drive to keep jobs in areas where coal etc is phased out.

I see the Italians have booted out the center left party in the booth.

Previously, all those people would have voted in the center left, and now have had enough of the EU and mass immigration, the wave or murders rapes and crime.

Some might call them all "muh racists" <whistle>

The EU folks, is NOT Europe. The EU has no culture, it is a political entity. Europe is the countries and EU culture is the culture of the countries in Europe, and the cultures are all different.

The EU is nothing but an ideologically socialist crackpot corrupt entity.

Ideological socialism causes nothing but damage.
Socialist ideals in society is a good thing, socialist policies like free edu and access to healthcare are good things.
Never ending welfare for able bodied people with no enforcement to contribute something back for that money (into education or work for it), creates incentive not to better yourself, this is cancerous problem, a bad socialist policy.

I know having grown up in a poor area in Ireland. No one looked for jobs, everyone just waited to turn 18 and get free money.
You can't do that **** here in Finland, you work for free at companies for experience and skills gain or you go into full time education to better yourself and get new skills.
There is no one just getting the dole for a decade without being asked to do **** in return.

Importing hundreds of thousands of people and putting them on welfare, with no expected return on it, is ****ing disaster. Then they have kids, who follow the same path, as in Sweden with three generations on welfare, and no jobs for them, and they did not avail of the once free top class education system, preferring gangs and crime instead, because that is the way of things in the places they came from, they recreate their homeland societies in hovels around Sweden, 100 of them now, and in Germany, and in the UK.

Yes #notALL, but because #notALL we should just ignore the problem?

Even immigrants from the 70s who came to the UK and integrated and built up businesses like so many Indians, hate these new migrants who don' integrate and just stick their hands out and demand things, with labour always willing to hand **** out.

Labour is no longer the working class party, they are minority, feminist and LGBT party, the identity party. The white guilt party. Working class can **** off as far as labour are concerned

My own view is similar to that of america and indeed of france. People are sick of austerity or being told theres no money for this or that or thats the way it is and vote for change.

Just my thinking on it anyway. I think people see politicians being too close to business and they vote for that new term "populist" parties

It will be interesting to see what is made it this next italian parliment.

Gary Cohn: Key Trump economic policy adviser resigns

Image caption Gary Cohn was director of the National Economic Council under President Trump
US President Donald Trump's top economic adviser Gary Cohn is resigning, the White House has said.
It is the latest in a series of high-profile departures from President Trump's team.
There has been speculation that Mr Cohn, a supporter of free trade, was angered by Mr Trump's plans to impose tariffs on aluminium and steel imports.
In a statement released by the White House, Mr Cohn said it had been "an honour to serve my country".
The 57-year-old former president of the Goldman Sachs bank had helped Mr Trump push through his sweeping tax reforms late last year.
    Why has Mr Cohn gone?
Gary Cohn and President Trump were never believed to be close.
Mr Cohn wasn't specific about the reasons, saying in a statement it had been "an honour to serve my country and enact pro-growth economic policies to benefit the American people, in particular the passage of historic tax reform".
Once that mission had been achieved, a number of differences may have prompted the departure, including the possible looming trade tariff war and his differences on that issue with trade adviser Peter Navarro and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
Mr Cohn had reportedly set up a meeting between Mr Trump and business executives who opposed the tariffs move. But Mr Trump pulled out of that meeting and on Tuesday reportedly asked Mr Cohn in the Oval Office to back the tariffs publicly. Mr Cohn did not answer, sources told Bloomberg.
In August last year, Mr Cohn had also criticised Mr Trump over his reaction to a far-right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, saying the administration "can and must do better". He was reported to have drafted a resignation letter after the event.
What has the White House said?
An official said: "For several weeks Gary had been discussing with the president that it was nearing time for him to transition out."
The exact departure date had yet to be determined.

In a statement, Mr Trump said: "Gary... did a superb job in driving our agenda, helping to deliver historic tax cuts and reforms and unleashing the American economy once again.
"He is a rare talent and I thank him for his dedicated service to the American people."
    And the markets?
Analysts were pointing to the resignation of Mr Cohn, a free market advocate, as one reason behind a drop in shares across Asia on Wednesday. The Nikkei closed 0.77% down and the Hang Seng 1.03%.
Rick Meckler of LibertyView Capital Management told Reuters that Mr Cohn was "very credible" and the resignation announcement "certainly causes short-term downward pressure".
The dollar continued its retreat against the yen, down from 113 at the start of the year to 105.6 on Wednesday.
European stocks also opened lower, the FTSE 100 and pan-Europe STOXX 600 falling about 0.5% after opening.

Does this herald a new direction?
Analysis by Anthony Zurcher, BBC News, Washington
Gary Cohn was a bit of a stranger in a strange land. He was a Democrat in a Republican White House; an economic globalist working for a president who campaigned on economic nationalism. Now, it seems, Donald Trump's protectionist bent has pushed the top administration economic adviser to the exit.
This was not an unexpected development. By many accounts, there had been a contentious White House fight over whether to impose sweeping sanctions on US steel and aluminium imports - a tug-of-war that was settled, precipitously, by the president himself last week.
There were the rumours that Mr Cohn was only sticking around to see last year's tax bill over the finish line, after his extreme discomfort following the president's warm words about some of the white nationalist marchers involved in violent clashes in Charlottesville last August.
Mr Cohn was reportedly viewed by many Trump loyalists in the White House as an unwelcome interloper. Some on the outside, particularly in the financial world, welcomed him as a moderating influence - along with son-in-law Jared Kushner and daughter Ivanka.
Now the former is leaving and the latter two seem greatly weakened. All this could

In the BBC bit I shall highlight spin vs objective reported words, all bold is spin.

All of that in bold is fact-less spin\opinion posing as some sort of facts, and this creates subjective impressions, and ALL media is FULL of this crap!!

I don't have time to do more, am not defending Trump (**** no).
