He reminds me of Dyer when he first joined the club. I honestly thought he was our best player tonight (krul and sammeobi obviously got the credit) but he looked sharp and that kind of game must have been a shock to his system but he dealt with it well.. He did more in this game than Obertan has in his previous 2.

Good run out for Marveaux, Cabaye looked more assured as the game progressed. But aye, massive concern over lack of defensive cover.

Yep, and he looked good first half, started to tire as the match went on

    Sammy needs to bulk up!!
but he looked good today considering it was his first competitive game since November
and i dnt think the hoof ball did him favours, although when we got our passing game going he looked clever an has an eye for a pass

Hes like a spider. Thin tangly legs, but when he bites, he kills a team in a instant

I'm talking about Sameobi here, not Marveaux in case there was the slightest chance anyone read this

To be honest I thought all of our guys had good games tonight. They had to because Scunthorpe put on a really good show and we could have been out if everybody hadn't pulled their weight.

I was also fairly impressed with Marveaux considering it was his first game for us. His pace, like Obertan's, is frightening. Like **** off a shiny shovel as we would say up in Scotland.
