Gary Neville went mad at Arsenal, I have to agree with him, They don’t turn up in the big games personally.
Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere, 26, says he will quit the club in the summer, unless they offer him a significantly improved contract. (Sun) So much for Mr Wheelchair being "Mr Arsenal," yeah! He's just as much a mercenary as Woe-zil. Which of the top 5 teams would Wheelchair get into? None. And yet, he expects Arsenal to pay him that kind of money! Dream on, pal.
The Arsenal board have turned against manager Arsene Wenger and are drawing up a list of replacements for the 68-year-old. (Mirror) It looks as though the last piece of thread, by which this club has been hanging, is about to unravel. This could get very messy.
Wenger claims he "turned the whole world down" to remain as Arsenal manager. (Telegraph) The Frenchman's future was cast into doubt after he refused to confirm whether he will see out his contract that ends in 2019. (Mirror) Wenger can't say what his future is going to be, because he doesn't know when he's going to get sacked.
Adrian Durham made a very good point, on TalkSport yesterday, whilst discussing Wenger's future. In reply to Wenger's ludicrous comment that he "turned down the World" to manage Arsenal, Durham retorted "that's because you knew you'd be in a bubble at Arsenal!" He suggested that, beyond 2004, Wenger would have lasted no more than two seasons at any other top club, on what followed.
Poch will be on every top club's list, Bambs. So, Arsenal won't even get a look in. Not that any of that ought to concern you, of course. Poch will be at Spurs for a fair while, yet.
The Gunners won (three Premier League titles in Arsene Wenger's first eight seasons in charge - but none in the following 13. Sitting sixth in the table, they are closer to bottom-placed West Brom than City in terms of points. (BBC Football) Damning.
HIAG purporting that Adrian Durham knows anything worthwhile about footie ... New depths of desperate
Forget the personal insults, and engage me in a footy discussion, for once. Do I take it from your comments - and I do admit that I am having to dig deep to try to find something to use, here - that you think that Arsenal are not in a spiral, and that Wenger is not going to be losing his job any time soon? Give me a clue.
... every team is in a spiral Quents ... that's football ... you predicted Leicester City would go on a downward spiral after our title win ... relegation even ... we are now on an upward curve compared to last season ... Arsenal are currently going through a relative slump ... but they are still in sixth ... Tell me this Quents ... if you finish below second ... would that constitute the start of a downward spiral?
I didn't "predict" that LCFC would get relegated, Bambs. You're taking all of that stuff I said (in banter) far too seriously. Anything I may have said on that particular score was clearly a wind up - and a highly successful one, but the looks of it, as you're still beeling about it to this day. Yes, I did predict that Leicester's winning the title would be at a cost to the club, and I have been proven absolutely right in that. Your best ever manager got the sack ffs! I am glad to see that you agree with me that Arsenal are in a spiral. As for Spurs being in a "spiral" are you being serious? You're talking about a club that has struggled, since the Prem began, to break into the top 4. I think we've finally achieved that. It doesn't matter where in the top 4 we keep finishing, the fact of finishing in the top 4 will be proof that we've made massive strides as a club. With Arsenal, it's the opposite. They've hardly ever been out of the top 4 since the Prem began, and slumped out for the first time in two decades, last season. If they finish outside the top 4 this season, which is looking increasingly likely, my opinion is that it won't be too harsh to suggest that Arsenal is in decline.
On here the favourite word is 'rattled'. No matter what circumstances someone is always rattled it seems.
