I suspect there'll be a whole raft of games called off over the weekend - at least the decision was made well in advance of our fans travelling up the A47, A14 and M1 <ok>

I expect that very few will actually take place, as most parts of the country are affected to some degree by snow and ice and at least we don't have a repeat of the Walsall fiasco!!!!! Gives a little more time for Pinto/Klose to return from injury as well and I can see the Forest game being postponed due to travel problems

Barnsley now due to be played on 13th March.
Just looked at the BBC Website and very few postponements so far.

This was brilliant. I love how he names individuals too. So many others would be tip toeing around the subject but he doesn't give a toss. Hopefully some of the players will be rightly embarrassed, but no doubt Nelson will take it the wrong way and flounce off again.

In fairness, you wonder what cars the players have and couple it with police advice and maybe you can't blame them. Footballers do tend to like a flash motor, if they are more of a sportscar than a range rover type, then driving a rear wheel drive car with 3 inches clearance without winter tyres to anywhere in the recent conditions would be at best tricky. Nelson has probably never needed winter tyres and maybe never driven in snow so you can understand his trepidation.

    Bah!

    Bless him.

Yet near neighbour Louis Thompson was in at the normal time. Maybe some kind of car share was in order? <doh>

In fairness, I'm not sure Louis Thompson has quite hit supercar purchasing power yet.

    Bah!

Well, whatever he's got, it got him there on time.

Yeah, naming players is what made it funny. I wish we could see the pictures that players sent in :emoticon-0102-bigsm. I'm sure the players who didn't make it on time were in for a lot of good-natured ribbing from those that did. That could help ease tensions. Nelson at the double tomorrow! :emoticon-0167-beer:

I have a hunch that ALL our endeavours to create 'shots on goal' are going to turn into 'shots on target' or even goals and I'm certain that before the end of the season, one of the visiting teams to CR is going to feel the full force of our misfiring number 9!!!

Good call HMQC! I wonder if it was not getting a snow day that precipitated Nelson's poor attitude.:)

Not looking good for Nelson if it really is another attitude issue. Good chance we'll be after another striker for next season. Unless of course we can get by without any <yikes>
