The British Horseracing Authority has announced an additional "jumpers' bumpers" fixture at Kempton on Monday "in light of the prolonged spell of severe weather".
    Good Luck <cheers>

Isn't the trick in these jumper bumpers trying to identify the horses that are actually trying to win rather than have an away day and a gallop on the all weather. In the 4.25 Miss Adventure ran 4 days ago so clearly isn't there for a workout. With the jockey claim has a stone less weight to carry than all the others. 9/1 will do for me in a single. Added Wilberdragon (sponged), Haulini, and Brotherly Company for an ew L15. Good luck all and take care on them roads.

That Southwell bumper with 4 runners has been puzzling me as I can't figure out what they are doing with Nautical Nitwit. He ran 22 days ago so shouldn't be particularly in need of a gallop, yet he has never run 2 miles before. I put him in my tracker after his last run (but not sure why) so I feel duty bound to back him, although I agree that Wilberdragon ought to be the one - at least he has run 2m - and won, in a bumper. Small stakes stuff and doubling up with Shyron at Lingers if that meeting goes ahead.

    Good luck <ok>

Sadly mate I think some of the trainers will struggle to get there and the markets will be chaotic. Two favs I was opposing are already NR's.
    Swashbuckling
    Charbel.......Charbel-Tomngerry CSF
    Wilberdragon....Wilberdragon/Volcanic RFC
    Man Look
    Hammersly Lake
Blazon (quite possibly the bet of the day)

WILBERDRAGON a NR too and TOMNGERRY 1/10. Will probably back the outsider of each race and hope at least one comes in.

Hello, pilgrims. Hope everyone managing to live in harmony, if you can call if that, with the old boy, Beast from the East. The old rogue does have his advantages though as I’m again munching on a combination of free toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches and, additionally today, Welsh cakes (a belated ‘Happy St David’s Day', people). Plus we are closing at noon but being paid the whole day! God bless you, taxpayers.

That ‘bumpers for jumpers’ card today lost a lot of its allure, for me when the Lieutenant failed to ant, sorry dec, either of his entries. I expect instead he’ll be ultra busy doing his Lieutenant job. Such as arranging sessions of ‘marching and saluting’, vigorously disciplining his Privates and…ummmmm…and…errrrrr…and…well other Lieutenanty type stuff as well.

Nothing much for me to say on the racing. Only that the Whatswrongwithyou ‘bonus’ double is very much still on (well providing the Beast has relented by then, of course) and he’s gone fave for the ‘Imperial Cup’ - Whatswrongwithyou that is not the Beast.

Good luck, crew, and keep safe.

I imagine your pal is busy making some entries for Kempton jumpers bumper card on Monday. Ideal bit of prep one would imagine.

Yes, very much looking forward to seeing the entries. It does have the possibility of being a really good card. Let’s just hope trainers support it and this time the races don’t ‘cut up’.

To be fair to todays card the "hit" has come from trainers simply not being able to travel. All the Oxon/Gloucs based trainers are stuck in the snow!

Yep, fair point, well made. Allegedly it’s supposed to get warmer from tomorrow afternoon and then a band of rain will supposedly wash away all the snow. Monday could climatically be a very different proposition.

Looking at the possibilities today mate. We really fancied Chelmsford over a mile as he is proven at that track and trip.
