Watford’s bad start has got worse only managing goals in one of four league matches and getting knocked out of the Carling cup as well. BirminghamCity started with a defeat at DerbyCounty, a win over local rivals Coventry and another defeat in Middlesborough. Birmingham have a European jolly to look forward to. Akureyri's Prediction: 1-2 Watford’s bad start will continue but they will manage a goal. There is a history The last match: Watford – BirminhamCity 0:1 The last meeting was a good result for the visitors, a rare success in Watford. Cameron Jerome’s goal at 73 min. was enough to separate the two teams although Blues did have the upper hand in the match. Further into the past: The locals have a good record with eleven wins and four draws in the 19 meetings in Hertfordshire. 29 goals against 17 is also a good return for the Hornets. In 1994 Watford managed five goals, which will not be repeated on Sunday. Birminham’s best return is three goals, a 3:3 draw and a 2:3 win in 1969. skál/skÃ¥l/cheers/salut Don't forget Drop in to The Hornet’s Nest for some match chat. I apologise for the small thread for Birmingham City but I have just returned from my course and have writen this out fast. I will add more tomorrow if I can find a quote from Chris Hughton and if the team gets injuries tonight.
Thanks as always AK, sorry guys but can only see one result and that is another defeat But please prove me wrong you Golden Boys! COYH!!
Once again top marks AK. I particularly like the fire breathing Polar bear. However, after looking far and wide i can not find one for you. I predict watford might lose, but we will put up a fight!!!
Again, if we can create chances like we did in the first half against Derby, we have a good opportunity to get an excellent win, we just have to score. Not sure if we will be able to, Birmingham aren't the best team in the division but they have a strong squad and a very good manager. Going to go for a 3-2 Birmingham win, but we'll keep coming back from behind and put up a good fight.
Well done Ak, how was your course? I think we will win, a bit of a surprise, but it will not really help as I don't see a real change for a while yet.
What I really hate about not606 is when I update a thread at work or on a program which I did not use to write the thread all the line spaces get doubled or more. So I have to do a big edit.
Zen the course was good. I might be able to get a job with BAe in Bristol with my knowledge or with Ford in Essex.
Can't see more than a point here. It's proving to be a struggle but I'm still happy we will get there (there being mid table ). We seem to be a bit like a F! car at the moment. The bits are there and with a bit of a tweek performance would rocket upwards - but its finding the tweek Having typed this I expect Sordell will knock in a hat trick!!!!!!
With todays news i can see us actually winning!!!! I wish i could change my predictions now!! i will say 2-1 to the Horns!!!
Iwelumo like to miss the match, while Bauben still not ready to start; http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/9217383.Iwelumo_likely_to_miss_Brum/ Weimann straight into the team? Jenkins or Walker to start? Also, a speedy recovery to Jordan
First of all, to Brum for their European exploits . That said, I hope it took everything out of you . Otherwise I predict a City win .
