  1. Shola Ameobi = ****
    Demba Ba = ****

Sammy = Outstanding pre-season, good against Chelsea last season, ****ing epic today.

His foot work, passing and overall play is ****ing brilliant.

Summary - Sammy deserves to start a game. Shola's ****ing ****e, Ba has been cack so far, Sammy has done enough to at least deserve a chance.

    Why the **** not?

I'm going to give Ba the benefit of the doubt due to Ramadan

I'm going to give Ba the benefit of the doubt because it's Tash's opinion.

    Worst logic problem ever!

  5. Start Ba and Sammy upfront? We should give Ba more chances definitely, but Shola has been ****e so far and doesn't deserve a place over his brother.

Because Sammy played well against a League 1 team, he deserves a start against a fully established Prem team? Your logic at times baffles me. Sub at best for now.

  9. No, he's been awesome pre-season, been scoring goals consistently when he's played for the reserves, played amazing today.

You may think it's only against a league one team, but Ba was ****ing ****e against this team.

Ba should get more time, but he's done more to deserve a start than ****ing Shola!!!

Sammy is 19, he isn't cut out for regular PL football yet.
All I hope is Ben Arfa comes back soon.

  11. So Shola is cut out for PL football?

I'm not saying regular PL football, i'm saying give him a chance.

I see your point Tash, but he needs to be eased into the prem. If you start him and he doesn't play well, it's gonna knock his confidence and it could hinder his progress.

  14. How about this, if Barton isn't here come Sunday -

    ------------Ba-------------

    Sammy---Gutierrez----Marveaux/Obertan

    ----Tiote--------Cabaye-----

  15. Ok, well he at least deserves a sub appearnce. I'm sorry, i'm just hyper after that stunner.

In my opinion Shola doesn't deserve to start games.

I agree with this. Like I said a few posts back, sub at best. However if he keeps this up we could see him more this season, same with Vuckic, he is a classy player!

  17. You just saw the difference when Vuckic and Sammy came on.

If Gosling gets a place above Sammy or Vuckic in a PL game i'll be pissed off though, he's done nothing for us apart from one good game vs Orlando pre-season, apart from that he's been ****e.

How many games has he played apart from two late appearances against Sunderland and the friendly?

    #18
  19. 3 pre-season friendlies, two appearnces vs Sunderland, 1 which he got injured, the other he ****ed up a simple chance. And tonight when he was ****e. He was ****e vs Leeds and ****e vs Kansas. Good vs Orlando though, even though we lost 1-0.

Sammy has been consistently good in every game i've seen him in a Newcastle strip.

So after a long injury spell you expect him to jump into pre-season friendlies like it's nothing? And then you blame him for getting injured against Sunderland? Your logic baffles me sometimes, I think Sammy should get a chance to start against Fulham but your idea of "Gosling is ****e." Seems a little over the top, he gets into good positions, he doesn't finish them off but he still get's into them. Let him get his bearings at the club, and stop being so harsh on a new comer. Some players fit in perfectly while other players don't and have to be eased in.

Best played terrible, therefore by your logic he's ****e? Why have you only include Ba and Ameobi, Ba hasn't been incredibly sharp but he's still worthy to be in the squad. We saw at West Ham how dangerous he can be so give it time. Jeeez!
