Simon Claisse confirms that the long range forecast for festival week is thankfully milder ..anything from 5 to 8 degrees with bits and pieces of rain...that could be a good thing for native river fans..:emoticon-0148-yes:

Just going through recordings of Cheltenham this year and north hill Harvey looks a cracking bet for the arkle currently 25/1. That's massive for a horse with probably the best course form. This arkle looks a cracker if everyone turns up. Was watching the cross country at the November meeting and kingswell theatre won his race in good style and if he turns up in form could be another big price winner off level weights, currently 25/1.

I have an early bet from a few months ago in North Hill Harvey. Unfortunately 15/1 e/w. I'd settle for the place.

Enda bolger said that COC has a stone in hand on his runners for the cross country so playing second fiddle.I've backed COC to win with an Ew saver on Elliots other runner Tiger Roll who has been schooled on the banks and will no his job on the day.Bolger has poor record in this race over the last few years as well.

    Hello Stick,

I just bet for the bumper Cross Peak 25/1 e/w. It's money down the drain?

Taken 14’s for Samcro in the supreme. Extremely unlikely but NRNB

Stick any fancies for the supreme? I'm leaning towards Kalashnikov now ITCF is a NR. I dont think Getabird beat much in Punchestown lto so have to take him on!

Won’t get beat but maybe a little bit biased as I’m sitting in a 16/1 ticket for him <laugh>

This may sound ridiculous Ste but I just cannot have Amy Murphy training a Festival winner in her first season! I am looking to get the fav beat too and I cannot understand why some in the Supreme are shorter in the Ballymore. I think VISION DES FLOS is outstanding at 33/1 NRNB. Its taken Tizzard a while to get to grips with him but he took a decent field apart at Exeter.

I backed two in the Supreme a while ago If The Cap Fits 10/1 and Summerville Boy 25/1, with ITCF out I can see why Getabird is so short, its probably the worst Supreme in my time and he wont need to be Douvan or Vautour to win it. Amy Murphy 2nd and Mengli Khan 3rd in the betting tells you everything about this race.

I've had an ante on the bumper. Thought I'd get in early before stick announces his selection and the price shortens
