Amanda's view if anyone is interested. I knew something wasn't right but I got the wrong end (that's me, can't tell my arse from my elbow). Samcro has little front extension. He'll be OK if the ground is soft but:
    1. If the ground is good he will be vulnerable (got that right)
    2. He probably won't find much off the bridle
3 Unlikely to beat Next Destination (or Cracking Smart)

Definitely a lay for me at the current odds

Unfortunately haven't been able to find a video of On The Blind Side and haven't looked at the others
My ew bet is Cracking Smart at 33/1. He was a big baby when beaten 5l by Next Destination. Looked stronger when beaten 1l next time and probably will be ready in time for the Festival to do even better

Was staying on well lto out Ron. Extra furlong plus the hill could well work in his favour. Interesting ew poke at 33s for sure.

Davy Russell was waxing lyrical about Samcro last year and has gone on record as saying he s as good a horse as your ever see. Also thinks the horse has a great attitude and has a mahoosive engine.

Davy Russell knows his onions and not often forthcoming with his views. I think Samcro will be in cruise control whilst the rest are 'at it'. Convincing win for me...

NAP: Apples Jade & Samrco double!
Can’t split them, both look nailed on. Not sure why anyone can worry about good ground for Samcro, he only won a good ground bumper by 17l! Likely to be an even better horse on better ground, he wins this pulling a train. Suspect Mullins chucking at least two prominent Ricci owned mare against Apples Jade will ensure she’ll be available close to evens on the day, which should be free money.

    LAY: Altior
Not a confident lay at all, think he likely wins but it’s possible he’ll bounce from here to the moon too and at odds on, you really shouldn’t have any doubts in a horse. Min should at least give him a fright too, and who knows if Douvan will pitch up (suspect he won’t), but if he did, no horse should be odds on against him!

    EACH-WAY: Mengli Khan
Backed this lad immediately after he won the Royal Bond so still keeping the faith at a double figure price he will sneak a place. The Supreme isn’t crammed with depth, this horse if running to the level he showed before his two dodgy runs, is well capable of going very close. Was giving 6lb to Getabird last day and didn’t run up to his best, he hasn’t a huge gap to bridge.

Sure did beefy. Beat Cluan Dara by 17l, who has since franked the form in no uncertain manner; beaten 30l by Is She Diesel, 22l by Darkest Flyer, 28l by Midnight Stroll, 31l by Dom Polo and 104l by Knockraha Pylon and still to win a race.

Yeah the forms rubbish Ron, as plenty of bumper form can be, but he could have won by 50l and most crucially from a visual point of view, he didn’t seem to have any worries acting on a better surface. I suppose it would be foolish not to respect the views of those closest to the horse the most, and they seem to have little worries regarding surface and to be fair Elliott and Gigginstown know a dam sight more than me (or you) in what the horse is capable of, on different grounds, not to mention what it takes to win big Cheltenham races. They've had a few half decent sorts through their hands! We shall see anyway, let the horse do the talking in two weeks time, I won’t be using ground as an excuse anyway <ok>

Samcro has yet to run against a Grade 1 horse and every mug in the land will be on him.

Cheltenham has failed to capture me at all this season, would normally be watching all the previews but not been interested.

Footpad and Petit Mouchoir do nothing for me. Getabird and Samcro not taking each other on. The RSA looks terrible, Presenting Percy ffs, hope Monalee wins if he doesnt go for the equally terrible looking JLT. The Champion Chase looks the only top class race if they all turn up.

One bet I care about, Buveur Dair, keep the rest.
