It was snowing here in Southampton for about 45 minutes! Not enough to settle though and the suns out again now.
I nearly got hit by a snowflake here in Bath, but I was able to dodge it. I'm pretty sure I saw one flake land on another one, so it could be the start of snowdrifts and travel chaos. I did actually see "the beast from the East" but it was just a massively fat woman from Norfolk rather than a weather system.
This explosion in Leicester is awful. Terrible scenes, 4 dead. Snow falling heavily too which makes it difficult for the rescue teams.
I saw about 20 minutes here in Eastleigh which was all very exciting until the sun came out. Hoping for a better show on Thursday. If the office isn't dealing with complaints all day because our workmen can't get anywhere while i can't deal with it due to train cancellations meaning i'm stuck at the train station building snowmen while everyone else is screaming then i will be disappointed.
The Bollywood star who died yesterday apparently drowned in her bath with a trace of alcohol in her blood. Her husband found her, then phoned a friend and finally the police....I think most of us would call an ambulance.
Talking of TSS, Vin been gone a long time too. Not606 isn’t the same at the moment..though is that because we’re **** for the first time in 9 years...
Saw Vin the other day (he does my windows) and he said he’d be back at sometime, but couldn’t handle the meltdowns, negativity and the need of some people to choose scapegoats. He said he’ll be back when our fate is settled (so I said “see you after the last game then!” Reckon I’ll meet up with him in the Guide Dog before a game sometime soon!
I saw Vin few weeks back too. He’s great and in good form. He just won’t do things he doesn’t enjoy and the forum became one of those things. He will be back.
Good to hear. BTW do not606ers still meet before a game? I’ve driven all season, but on Saturday going to train it, so will be going to a pub - who’s around nowadays?
I have noticed this board is so quiet nowadays ... once upon a time everytime I'd log in there'd be loads to catch up on. Now? Barely anything most of the time - and I'm even on it less compared to previously!
Saints have been more depressing in recent times and, if you become down, the last thing you want is to be depressed even more by talking to others in the same shape. I guess that people are protecting themselves. Many will be back in happier times I'm sure.
