obviously be nice but doubt we will see that many in the summer with the proviso that by that i mean players most consider quality but might have slipped under the radar of most i.e. Chelsea reject <whistle>

Agreed. Also, and not wanting to sound racist or ignorant, there are a lot a foreign glory fans that shout very loudly when it comes to phone ins and opinion polls.

the modren game is crazy that players stay and managers go when you see what west brom players have got up to.

i was listening to 606 last night and some woman from newcastle was on about this. she was an lfc fan as her father moved there and raised her right. she was on about both her sons switching between lfc and newkie but was saying just that about the klopp out munter that is on 606 regularly.. out of london...prob just a wum thry indulge cos it suits thier agenda.

i just find it utterly ridiculous managers last 18 months max now. theres no building at that point.

yet burnely and bournemouth prove there is another way.... perhaps these absentee non football owners who come in fear anyone having power but them i dunni.

id rather my club build long term and bounce up and down than do what say sunderland have done whixh is plod along getting by til.it implodes them you just fall apatt

We will need a new keeper because I reckon Migs is going. Another centre mid for sure and we should be after another attacker in the front 3.

agreed but they won't necessarily shout quality but that doesn't mean they won't be the players we need i.e. Salah
after all who but you & I expected him to do so well :1980_boogie_down:

Wenger - we were unlucky and their 2ns goal was offside.

<laugh> he’s making himself hard to keep respecting with his ramblings.

Sure but to be fair there are fans who have been waiting patiently for a while....several decades in fact. Some of us are even quite old...;)

I can see us winning the title. But it not only needs a great squad but at least 3 players who are well above the average premiership in key positions. Basically we have to do a Leicester. Before any one foams at the mouth and says we are well above Leicester and gets disgusted at the comparison, one word: Manchester City. For anyone to win the league they have to beat City to it.

And we have got to be LUCKY. Leicester were lucky in managing to get 4 top players who were absolutely key. Don't ask me how. Just lucky or good scouting? They were even bargains: Mahrez, Kante, Vardy and Schmeichel (played the best season of his career!). Somehow these players all gelled together and by the time the other teams worked them out they had an unstoppable lead.

I am not saying we shouldn't be hopeful but unless we recruit a great GK and a great DM we are going to struggle to win the title even if we've got the most fearsome attacking trio in the league.

they sacked a manager who didnt really play vardy and mahrez all that much

ranieiri basically put 11 men together with not many subs and got out of cups early abd the run kept going but nobody put pressure on at all really.

    we need

    gk. leicester had that
strong cbs. leicester had two big men who pulled and dragged and won headers. we have better imo.
midfield cover. we give none to cbs at times. we need to address this balance without being negative.
weve the attackers but no cover.

    its all about spine.

get the gk and cm and i think we will fly but we need some cover up front...

vvd kieta our front 3... taa developing. robertson determined to hold his place. lovren and ox to secure their places if they can.. those are klopps men now.

a strong gk and a strong cm and we could be challengers.

if karius and grujic can save us 100mil well and good ;)

Also Leicester had the element of surprise. I remember in the first half of that season they were winning at away grounds (mostly of the bottom/middle sides but also some top 6 too) playing their fast counter football with Kante shielding the defence and Mahrez firing his long accurate balls up to Vardy.

Whereas all the teams would park the bus with us no one did that with Little Leicester. They were underestimated in truth and I can say with confidence that there was no way they could have repeated that feat with the same players the following season.

Basically you are talking about rebuilding around Salah Firmino and Mane. Karius could well turn out to be better but will he be the new Courtois or DeGea. As for Grujic will he really turn out to be one of the outstanding players in his position?

i guess what i am saying it kieta is going to be a huge hit

    lfc team

    gk
    Taa lovren vvd robertson
    ox cm kieta
    sale firmino mane

i think klopp is happy with most of that.

if karius and grujic can step up great but we know Henderson is at a certain level as is mingolet. i think we have done well in league thus far but terrible in cups

we are adding two really good players are losing one since august so we are talking finishing it off now
