Really, really poor performance but thankfully Harry finally came to the rescue after quiet game for him in which he fluffed some earlier chances. Not one player stood out, way too many underperformed, with the worst being Aurier, truly dreadful display and I don't understand why we kept Tripps on the bench (I'd have started Tripps anyway). Massive and much needed three points though.
Will take that....grafting for the 3 points till the end. That was a difficult Bus or two to manoeuvre out of the way Draw between Chavs n United please
At this point a win is all that matters. Our last 4 matches v palace have been all 1 nil wins! We have equalled 15 matches unbeaten in premier league years (in all competitions) if we beat Rochdale then Pochettino takes the record from Bloke in a coat. Coys
Thoughts on this one ... Palace : Decimated by injuries, but does busparquet at home regardless deserve any points ?? Spurs : Appalling lack of focus. I am sick and tired of players playing like this and not emerging the next day being admitted to the burns unit. If Pochettino has learned anything from his few meetings with Fergie, it should be that the hairdryer is an important tool of the manager. Overall : The win was always the most important thing. Time to see what effect it has today ...
Draw betweem United and Chelsea with some red cards and freak deaths would be perfect. It's all very tight up at the top... 2. Liverpool 57 3. United 56 4. Spurs 55 5. Chelsea 53 THE GRAND CANYON 6. Arsenal 45 Chelsea draw today then lose to City would be perfect.
How very dare you. I am just saying Kane is **** and we should get rid. If you can twist that into a wum then i don't know what i can do.
Another 1-0 pasting, just like against Arsenal. Should've had 2 penalties but Palace really were there for the taking regardless and we should have beaten them much more comfortably. Hard to pick out anything in particular we did wrong though, just didn't seem to fall for us today but it's not like it's the only game we've struggled to score against. Alli motm for me. Disappointed with Dier at centreback(hope Jan's not out long), Eriksen and Moura's sub appearance but generally everyone was decent.
Well said. I am also a bit cheesed off with people blaming 'parked buses' for these performances. I don't see that affecting Liverpool or City too much. Opposition teams playing with extremely defensive tactics should not account for routinely misplacing simple passes, players getting in eachothers' way, missing open goals, taking foul throws, set pieces to no-one and nowhere and constantly dribbling the ball into danger. Parked buses make it harder to get shots away and create clear-cut opportunities, both of which tend to happen in the final 30 yards of the pitch. If what's happening in the preceding 70 yards is a royal **** up, that cannot be blamed on the opposition.
10 point gap but they have a game in hand. As I always say, a goon in your pocket is worth two up l'arse.
Kane was abysmal. As were Dier, Aurier, Wanyama, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Davies, Lamela, and Sissoko.
