You can't blame Sissoko for this performance

Pressing this high that there’s practically 21 players in Palaces half isn’t gonna work. It’s so compact there’s no space anywhere.

At this rate, we’ll be here all day before we score and Lloris can just lean back and smoke a *** most of the game :emoticon-0121-angry

Hopefully our players don't take that as a reason to nobble another one of our centre backs...

    Awful from EVERY player.
Terrible passing, crossing, choices, intensity, chances made and commitment

Apart from that it was great

Clumsiest game I've seen Moussa have in a very long time

Poor first half. Kane isolated. Lamela not had much influence. Eriksen quiet and a midfield gone awol.

Atrocious. The front 4 are offering nothing. All over-cooked and ponderous. I'd hook Alli and Lamela (who has been woeful) and replace with Son and Moura.

Aurier and Dave the only players who can hold their heads high after that shambolic half.

0-0 HT. That was pretty crap. Just endlessly passing it about and losing it in the final third.
Really need to move it around more quickly in the second half and get them thinking.
They're happy to sit back and soak up all the pressure.

Dreadful! As it often is after a break from PL football.

It'll come. Plus in Moura and Son we now have the best attacking sub options for ages and ages.

Couple of fussy points: Was anyone else wondering when/if Aurier was ever gonna be pulled up for practically all his throws being foul throws?

And also: why does the footballing world as a whole have such a problem with understanding what "whole of the ball over the whole of the line" means? It feels like 99% of close calls that are, however, definitely in, get called out.

I'd want them locked up in a cell as far away from Selhurst Park as possible this afternoon.

That was poor. So many poor choices in posession, poor crossing, safe passing and no pace or zip in our play. Kane has had no support at all. I know its difficult against a totally unambitious Palace side, trying to break down 11 men but we are too languid and passive.
All of our attacking players have been poor.

We cant afford to drop any points in games like this.
I hope they get a rollicking at HT because that wasnt good enough.

The sort of match that shows why there was no need to make so many changes last weekend!
