Next 4 games are what will define the season. I had us losing against Burnley

Blimey we are dreadful under this bloke. He needs to go against his ultra cautious instincts and attack with an attacking team against stoke or it's all over in all likelihood.

I agree, today was a bonus. Stoke is an absolute, cast iron, nailed on must win.

I did too, but I wouldn't have taken a point before the match, either. We're already in a position where we will probably need to win at least one tricky away match, whether it's Newcastle or West Ham, because we're down to just two home matches where we're favoured to take all three (or to take anything, for that matter).

Let's hope for a braver team selection than Brighton.

One good thing is relegation is in our hands, unlike West Brom...

Pellegrino is taking his players away for a couple of days of warm weather training before a return to the cold of Staplewood where they will complete preparations for a vital match against the Potters.
I hope our squad behave themselves, but they could find a taxi for MoPo2 perhaps?

Not exactly, he blocked a Burnley runner in midfield which allowed Saints to intercept a pass, from which Sims got the ball wide on the right and crossed for Carrillo at the back post who nodded it down for Gabbi.

Yeah Burnley defended poorly after that happened even though they had numbers back.

Burnley defended poorly, but that goal was all Gabbiadini; he really had no business getting to that ball first given that it was well behind him, but fought his way past (or if you're a Burnley fan, through) a defender, swiveled and fired in an instant. Probably the first time he has seen the ball within 15 yards of the goal in three months, and he wasn't going to let it pass.

Technically he is part of the pitch so not his fault!

That was a bit of a boring, survival type tactic.

Although I have been calling for more of that type of play for weeks, so I am happy.

4-4-2 with speed on the wings and a target guy is a good counter tactic. That’s just good ol’ boring English fundamental football. I would be fine with that. We definitely have the CM’s for it.

I’m just saying don’t expect those sexy Leicester-like beautiful precision counters. There’s going to be a lot of dump and chase and Route One longballs.

Right. All moaners can piss right off. Just home, set up to record MOTTD ( a rare event) and I'm on my third "aperitif". FFS, we scored a late equaliser. We don't do that. That's what other teams do to us. We got a bit of luck. We don't get that. Rejoice, you sods.

Pellegrino is still crap; we are still playing like we're scared; we still don't look like we could score. BUT WE DIDN'T ****ING LOSE! Get a grip
