He's done well there. When I looked at all the other candidates, he looked like he had some stiff competition (someone from Blackpool, someone from Leeds). Can't remember what the other candidate clubs were but it read like a who's who of clubs that have dicked on their fans.
Upon further inspection, it seems that Geoff came 5th out of 6, with 5 getting elected. Still, congratulations to Geoff.

Normally, you don't put yourself forward unless you know you have enough support to be elected, it's not the type of thing where dozens of people just chance it.
