How's that? 5 wins for us and 5 defeats for Cardiff would be a 15 point swing, when they're 10 ahead of us? I think the likelihood of us catching them is extremely slim, let alone without factoring in Villa, Fulham, Derby etc., though if we managed to win on Sunday to make it 7 points with 12 games to go... What's probably more realistic is for us to secure a playoff spot and hit them in good form - then, with a bit of luck, we'd be in with as good a chance as anyone...

remaining fixtures give Sheff u the best chance ! of being top 6 LEEDS AND Norwich are the lowest placed teams to be likely to get top 6 needing 3 win and 3 losses for the teams above them It looks like a top 14 and bottom 12 division with 6 or 7 fighting to stay out of bottom 3 every poster on here had visions of us finishing below what we have achieved with 5 of 12 posters reckoning on finishing 18th or less and 3 saying 8th 9th and 10th I said 14th but at the last minute had dropped them from 8th SO TOP 6 WOULD EXCEED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS, and 7th to 14th make us all happy!
At the start of the season, that would've been cause for celebration, but from where we were at the turn of the year, missing out on the playoffs would be a massive waste of an excellent opportunity.
a season is not 23 games long... it is 46 in the first half we did well and you have to look at the teams who are challenging us now most didn't do as well! so we were elevated to the top of the pile! Take Sheff u won 12 of their first 17 .. LOST 7 OF THEIR LAST 15! winning 4 drawing 4, potentially they can be above us with game in hand! City won 8 lost 2 drew 7 ...... but next 16 games one more than them, won 6 lost 5 and drawn 6............... Fulham won 4 lost 5 and drew 8 of first 17 next 16 games won 11 lost 2 drawn 4 so we are pretty average at the moment ..... a similar picture for 3 of the other teams ... 13 games to go 39 points and anything can happen ..... perm 2 from 4 for auto and 2 from 6 for 5th and 6th
Much prefer him in midfield to right back. Him being in the team rather than the treatment room is one of the big differences from last season.
Korey Smith is almost irreplaceable for us imo. Our most important player, more than Bobby or Flinty - without Korey the team doesn't tick quite the same. Probably my player of the season so far.
