    While there is still a long way to go in the season, and the teams around them are all losing (apart from Burton), the ones just above that are getting points and it is starting to look like it could be three from five to go down.

    made me chuckle. Not least because Vaughan has moved on and Fletcher is on loan. They will have to rely on their own youth team prospects next year (whichever league they are in).

    I think all Newcastle fans wish that 6 in a row hadn't happened. It isn't nice and it does bother you at the time.

    Seriously though the impact of someone mentioning it just dissipates over time. That impact is diluted even further when their club is busy embarrassing itself to grander proportions that any run of bad results against your rivals. My mate who is mackem tried to come with it the other, I couldn't take him seriously.

    Tell you what dunt half make it easier knowing any fan that looks back at the inevitable YouTube compilation will have Adam ****ing Johnson smiling back at them in a Sunderland shirt.
    Honestly since that 6 in a row has any fan base had it more embarrassing?Johnson, relegation after the flyover, no bums on seats, but people ****ting on them, a second relegation, selling ya whole team but still employing Kone, can't sell the club cheaper than Aubameyang, potential points docking and administration.
    Yeah, I'll live with that six in a row just fine right now.

    I bet if you ask any proper sunderland fan, they'd quite happily swap the 6 in a row to be where we are right now rather than where they are. I'm pretty sure if they gave a couple of them back to us we wouldn't have gone down a couple of years back and they would have, but they would probably have been back up by now :) ****ing funny how **** turns out, need to dig out a video someone sent me a few years back to post on here as well, its top quality in the comedy dept looking back now....probably was a little bit back then as well actually having thought about it :)
