Was that a "false dawn"? 3 things have changed since last season that have reversed our fortunes, and only one of those can be partially blamed on Conte: 1) We lost Costa - Conte needs to take the majority of the blame for this, he handled it terribly and I said so from Day one. 2) City went and got the players Pep wanted and turned them into a great team - Nothing anyone at Chelsea can do about that 3) The board ****ed Conte on transfers and got NONE of the targets he asked for, and he was forced to accept bargain basement, mediocre, second string alternatives, He wanted Lukaku, but got Morata, he wanted Nainggolan and got Bakayoko, he wanted Dzeko and got Giroud, and also someone thought it would be a good idea to sign Danny ****ing Drinkwater and Ross Barkley, two mediocre, perenially injured crocks, for around £55m. This is the boards fault 100%

Logic doesn't seem to work with Stan, common sense doesn't seem to work. If you slate someone all the time, when they do make a balls up it's easy to say " I told you so". I asked Jose to be given like Arsene. I implored the same for Tony before Season KO. That is never going to happen in the modern game. Tony is not going to change. All (Pep, Jose, Carlo, Tony.
