Man Hunter show what happens when you get a proactive switched on council who own the stadium and surrounding land, and wealthy intelligent investors.
Yeah, makes you wonder whether to believe people like Allam and Ashley when they say the club is up for sale.
The one thing I used to say was the old man let Steve Bruce get on and run footballing matters, and we succeeded. Bruce wasn't perfect, but he did a great job for us. Then Ehab decided he knew better than Bruce and wanted to control everything, Bruce jumps ships and the rest is history.
100% this. There was a lot of our play last night at 90%, going through the motions. The heart and desire was missing. We played on muscle memory.
I was replying to someone who mentioned about a League 1 club being bought. But feel to rush in. I thought Sunderland were bottom,of the Championship. Did you mean a club near the bottom of the Championship?
Except, last season the thinking was more likely to be bought as a prem club than as a championship club. Would you buy City or Sunderland? Could become City or North Ferriby.
Not by me, I argued the point consistently that we were far less likely to be sold once a huge income increase and parachute payments were guaranteed again. Why would someone suddenly sell a business when it’s guaranteed - no matter how poorly it is run - to become the most profitable it ever has in its history? You don’t get that guarantee in any other business.
In a perverse way I'd love to hear NA put a positive spin on relegation. Well Nigel City are in league one next season.. Yeah, but we'll be in the first round of the FA Cup. Just think of the new grounds to visit. Think of the ticks. Luton always bring a few
I think their failure to perform due diligence before buying the club means that the gift cost them much more than they were expecting. They just want to share the love with the next owner.
Wouldn't it be hilarious if someone came forward to buy the club and the Council sold them the Stadium also. Imagine the indignation of the Allams.
Us Burton, Barnsley and Sunderland are at the bottom of the Championship. Did you mean something other than 'But feel to rush in'? CSM
