I knew that you would make an issue of it FLT... I posted it for a bit of a giggle and you are very welcome to post any song by Mr Sheeran that you wish. Btw, I don't dislike Ed because he is massively popular now, i've always thought that he is crap!... Ed Sheeran irritates me and Alan Pardew irritates you...
Not sure he did it the hard way Fats, it’s more that he's been doing it so long! His first release was when he was 13. He’s a hugely talented guitarist, singer, technician, producer, and singer, of that there is no doubt. Personally, I like his live playing, but his recordings are not my cup of tea.
My own personal view of him is that his singing is generic and souless and his songwriting is a bit boring and uninspiring to me. He must have something though to sell that much, but he is the Solo Coldplay to my mind, bland supermarket music.
Bloody marvellous album! As a debut, it’s difficult to better, in my opinion. Such a talented performer. Thanks for posting, Saints.
Still unsure how I missed this when it came out, but, thanks to my pals at Southampton Ukulele Jam who insisted we learn and play it, I know it now. And have just bought the album .....
New Poll. Win the Fa cup and listen to Sheeran non stop for a month or Go out in the next round and only ever hear Sheeran at weddings

Happy 55th Birthday to Stone Roses singer Ian Brown. I prefer their rockier stuff and this is my favourite,
Yep, many happy returns to "King Monkey" who was born in Warrington in 1963... I'm quite fond of The Roses' melodic stuff too....
The Frontman of the other biggest band of the early 90s, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was born on this day in Aberdeen, Washington State in 1967..
