Let's be fair, you are the biggest Mackem sympathiser on this forum (even more than turncoat Albert!). You blow smoke up their arses on a daily basis. Sorry, I'm not trying to mean, but it has needed to be said for a long time. Anyway, I like them to be worse than us which they are and I laugh a lot about their current plight as the disasterous results roll in week after week. It's just funny to laugh at people who have been so obsessed about Newcastle doing badly, going through what they are going through. So I hope they get relegated again and I hope they go into administration and continue to struggle for a long time. Not bothered about derbys tbh, even though in my lifetime we have won the majority.

Hey I'm not arguing, it's not mean it's true. My concern (regarding the derbies) is that in the middle of dreary seasons when we've been mid-table or fighting relegation in the past they at least raise extra interest. To a far lesser extent Boro does the same (it's not a proper derby but they want it to be so it still becomes a game with extra bite). Do I particularly give a **** about us playing most of the Premiership teams? No not particularly.

I don’t know why their fans aren’t trying harder? They could easily survive with that squad and get themselves a better buyer in the Summer with a decent Championship budget. Maybe I’m missing something but the importance of the fans cannot be understated.
They're heading into the bracket of being bought out by a saviour who it turns out never had the money he said he did and somehow conspires to make everything worse. I'm actually starting to worry there won't be a Sunderland left to laugh at in a few years.... So i just laugh twice as hard to make up for it
