    Folk have been understandably sympathetic towards him in the past, but it's not a good idea for him to push his luck too far.

    Mossos d'Esquadra - the Catalan regional police force - had told BBC Sport the four players involved wanted to go out in Barcelona, but found everything closed so took a taxi to a fast-food restaurant.

    I dare say before this incident, they were already out until 5.30am sampling the local brew..!!

    Probably a misunderstanding, one of them said let's take a taxi to get something to eat, and one of them took it literally.
