    Morning all...

Berardi and Saiz straight in but not Cooper..

Hernandez was wasted first half out on the left, the second half he cut in picking the ball up more and looked a different player to the first 45

Dallas should be on the left wing but this is a prime example of picking the best players but not in their best positions.

Thinking of 4-4-2 where on earth do you squeeze Hernandez, Forshaw and Saiz into the same team, the only way to do it is play at least two out of position and whilst on positions Anita isn’t a RB

O’Kane isn’t good enough to start not alone make him captain, why is it every Leeds fan would say Pontus as captain yet the coaches pick the worst defender or one of the midfielders who are way off form.

I’ll give him more time but as for formation, selection and tactics, I’m not impressed with PH at the moment. Just pick the best player in a position they are comfortable with and Sacko coming on ahead of Alioski?

At Barnsley it’s reported PH favoured formation was 4-4-2 with the occasional 4-1-3-2

4-1-3-2 might actually work for us looking at who we have, maybe even play Saiz alongside Lasogga

Wednesday with all players Back and available we’ll see PHs first choice formation...

That's good news, didn't know the family had moved

I'm warming to the big lump, to be honest if he was faster he'd be a hell of a player, as it is he's one of our better players. On his motivation, he must know the fans did not rate him in Germany, yet he's been on the fringes of the national team, so he may see Leeds as a way to restart his career. (My fear is, by getting sold to a more successful club in the summer, but let that go, its good he's motivated).

I think (hope) PH is still working out what he's got at his disposal. He said in the post match press conf that hes has been watching videos of past games, and singled out Sais as someone he knew was good.

4-1-3-2 might be a way to play both Hernandez and Sais, interesting he's used that. Though I would be worried we would be a bit powder puff in midfield with only one DM

If we went 4-1-3-2 I’d play Phillips in the middle of the three with Saiz and Hernandez each side, I’d put Forshaw as the 1 or Vieira as the 1 and Forshaw between Saiz and Hernandez but either way I wouldn’t have the 2 players each side of the 3 hugging the touchline.

I think it would give us more options...

morning all The 2nd half yesterday urged on by the crowd the team showed great spirit. Its early days for the coach but this is a good sign. Hopefully confidence, results, and football will follow.

Good thoughts, its true Phillips can play further forwards and has a bit more bite to his game

Interesting none of us are imagining a role for Alioski when the banned players come back. The main worry I have with your plan is we might be a bit narrow, though Pablo can do the winger thing now and then. Don't think Alioski is the answer though. Pity is our two most likely fullbacks are better defensively than as auxiliary wingers.

I thought he did ok, though gave it away cheaply a couple of times. Seem to recall it was Pablo who put the telling passes in but he was involved. Not sure about him but was not a disaster this time

Wonder what Saiz would do playing up front with Lassoga in a 4-4-1-1 sitting in the hole. He has played up front many times, will scare defenders to death and win pens for me, as well as being able to link up play and support the big man? Then we have Ekuban capable o swapping with Lassoga if needed ...

Telling comments from PH on Saturday when he said he has been looking at players and looking at options. The best individual players dont always make the best teams. The best teams are the 11 selected who follow the plan, fit together, work together as a unit and get results, sometimes ugly. Now that sounds very unTommy so I support it

I'm surprised at the amount of flak Roofe gets, still our top scorer in all comps on 12. He only scored 3 all last season, so seems to have improved a fair bit in a year.

Good Morning Matt sorry I am a bit slow today probably caused by Glory sending down dirty water to our village
Well from my take of the game Pennington is not playing well so it looks like Cooper is back in the team along with Saiz
O'kane should be dropped for Saiz and well next window we must get a goalkeeper along with a tall CB Lassonga has made it very clear that he wants to stay and I think I have found a way round the problem
As we know he is on 50k a week and has one year left .We agree to take him from Hamburg on a free .We give him £2m signing on fee and a contract for 3 years at 10k a week lets face it he's worth £2m all day long
BTW its very wet and damp today in bardsey

Agree about Roofe, although doesn't get flak at the games, only the keeper getting stick at the matches, and although I never give him abuse myself, can understand it to some extent.I think he's the worst we've had in a long time.

I would put Cooper in for pennington. Not that he has done anything wrong but also done nothing in my eyes to suggest he is better than Cooper.
Cooper is our captain and despite a coupe of discipline problems is having his best season for us.

Pennington can stay in the team for me cooper is a lunger .so we all agree we dont have attacking fullbacks.so beradi back in and play both saiz and pablo also dallas is better than aliflopski roofe and lassoga have booked their spots so forshaw in too. So we are set up 4 1 3 2.sorry to say but the weed aka punchy seems to be the only goalie we can use.can you imagine him in a play off final.

    Good lad Eddie.
Even at his age he is kopping an eyeful, and WCD wrongly says you lose interest and other things get more important as you get older.
