Rangers v Celtic

I used to hear this bullshit when Rangers were playing in the CL. The only team that benefits is the one playing in the competition. The co-efficient might go up slightly but the money made by the club allows them to buy better quality players and means they can win the league while playing Euro football.

The only thing that will improve the co-efficient is for other Scottish clubs to step up and win a few games. So far, there's been little Progres on that front.

 

ps Once Celtic get their better players back fit and playing (Rogic, Roberts, Griffiths, Gordon, Armstrong, Boyata et al.) the league will be romped.

 

The league will be romped anyway. I have a better record at Ibrox than Rangers and Aberdeen can't beat the "bigger" teams.

 

I don't know the standings but if Celtic progress and with Aberdeen/Rangers chasing 2nd place would they go straight into group stages and 3rd place to qualify?Asking for a friend.

Celtic would need to win the Europa Cup to get automatic entry to the CL. That isn't going to happen and Scotland's co-efficient is now so low we'll be playing qualifiers before the season ends soon. As I said, if teams like Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Rangers would stop getting pumped by Cypriot and Maltese minnows every year it would be a big help.

 

Why would we, Celtic didn't play in Europe for 2 months and were ****e domestically. So no, we hope Zenit pump them and the Zenit fans get all stabby on the smelly tramps who go to watch them in Russia.
