Couldn’t make it today but at least we managed to grind out the win. From the reports on Twitter from those that were there, MKD were “p1ss poor”. Still, these are the games you have to win dirty if you want to get promoted. If the takeover is announced next week we should get 20,000 plus v Shrewsbury.
Just about the worst game of football I’ve ever seen. To be fair to the lads we ground out the 3 points and the away following were in good voice. MK had about 3 or 4 clear cut chances that they should of taken - a draw would of been a fair result.
Not sure I will be watching the egg chasers again, even though Blackheath won 29-28 in an exciting game.
The first half was like a testimonial after we went 1 0 up MK just went through the motions for remaining 35 mins ...2nd half they came at us we scored a second against the run of play then it was a backs to the wall display with the odd breakaway from us in which we looked threatening . Overall a decent display even Reeves was ok maybe reacting to the MK fans boos. BUT Kaikai was in a league of his own for uselessness ....every time he got the ball he either gave it away or got tackled..truly woeful display. The substitutions worked for a change they all did a job Marshall was a good outlet when we were under pressure. The Agard geezer was decent for them their keeper was arguably at fault for both goals . Great to see Aribo back could of bagged a goal but for the post. Another annoying Robinson trait the huddle he does post match in the centre circle...why he could do that in the dressing room ever the attention seeker it’s nonsense. BUT MK are 6 points from safety can see why ...Shrewsbury will be a real test if Fosu is fit Kak Kai has to be dropped
