But with our season going from bad to worse, at what point do you reckon Short will put the club into administration ? What we can't do is start next season in league one facing a 10 point education thats for sure. Allegedly we are losing around 3m a week, that cannot go on much longer and with games now running out, plus we simply can't win games, maybe Short should do this sooner rather than later. Just a thought. With luck, we start next season with a clean slate and pray god new owners.
It's hard to put into words how bad this season has been and how desperate a position the club is in. I'm not 100% up on his and when going into administration works but if if looks inevitable then potentially I would rather if happen now than to handicap us further next season.
words cant describe how im feeling right now, instead of going into administration, Short should get the people who wanted to buy the club , and if need be give it away if he doesn't want to keep it afloat.
Sounds like a good plan, but if you're a buyer interested right now.....let the club go into Admin and pick it up for a song..lets just hope someone actually wants it
If we do it now we get a 10 point deduction next season as well. I think it's inevitable that its going to happen though. I think short will wait another 4 or 5 weeks and if it's still looking as bleak as it is now will do it. We will be accepting a relegation fight next season in league one but as you have said the club can't go on bleeding money much longer. I've accepted that we are going down as have most sunderland fans, but to do it now when in theory we are 2 wins from being out of the bottom 3 would be a complete joke, although relegation is comfortably the most realistic outcome.
After administration and points deduction I csn see is slipping down again into League 2. At that point, if not before, someone surely has to turn round, take a look at the facilities and potential and say that's well worth a punt. Until then I don't think we're gonna see a single penny of investment in our club.
Sorry mate. Just how I see it at the minute. It's grim. No getting away from it. We're the next Portsmouth and only because the owner has washed his hands of us.
Could it be, he is waiting to recoup and pocket money from the out on loan players, i.e. Borini, Khazri etc. Seems they are getting rave notices from abroad.
They always state the highest possible figure though. I doubt we'd get past 20/25m, if that on sales. And thats without knowing who's out on loan. The buyers know that we're up **** creek and we will take what we can get.
I can’t see Short going for administration because a lot of the debt/loans are with his own companies, which means that he will lose that money.
