    So erm, if you had to choose;

Beat City away in epic quarter final duel

    Or

Take three points off them on the final day

    Which one?

Depending on what’s needed, the latter.

I don't think we'll need to take 3 points from City so the former.

The former, as I did spend £35 each yesterday to move our flights out on holiday to the Sunday after the Cup final (we were flying out on the day of it).

    Now it is easy.

Go up on Friday night, stay in a Heathrow hotel Friday & Sat. Get a tube into Wembley and meet the not606ers in the pub. Watch the game, then on Sunday morning walk to the terminal with a smile on my face after beating Man U in the final.

    What a great start to a holiday :) :)

If we do somehow lose that tie and don’t reach the Cup Final, it’s your fault!!!!

I changed it all as I'm rooting for a City v Utd final.

    Bit of reverse psychology :)

Obviously I know we’re going to beat them (or Wigan), but should we lose to City and they make the final....and the CL final.....and have wrapped up the league by the last game. That might mean they field their U16 team for the final league game. Which, y’know, is absolutely fine.

My thinking goes along these lines:
The only English team to beat Man City this season: Liverpool
The team who knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup: West Bromwich Albion
The team who beat West Brom 3 times this season: Southampton

Southampton > West Brom > Liverpool > Man City

    Piece of cake!

I am a scientist and I can confirm that Chilcos theory is legit science. We will beat Man City.

I am a rationalist. I can confirm that there is nothing irrational in the assumption that we are better than City because we beat W Brom thrice, and stuff.

In preparation for this victory, we really should start printing more keys to the city. <bubbly>

I eat a lot of cake, and I think that seems pretty easy to agree with.
Also, the pinnacle of science is the randomised, controlled trial- and Chilco’s hypothesis is without a shred of doubt, one of the most random things I have read in ages...

A City fan on here reckons if its them then tickets might only be about £15 or so.

If that's the case the club should offer to put coaches on and try and get 8000 of us up there.
