Lets just wait and see what happens on Monday night before taking our cyanide pills. If Wigan win then wahoo, we're favourites to make the semis. If City win, well I've always wanted to go to the Etihad. And I don't think City will have it easy on Monday either. Wigan will get in their faces and the pitch won't be as good as the Etihad's.

 

Bit deflated with that draw (and the 4 hour train journey from Birmingham New St to Euston ).

Good win though. We're better than at least one team in the PL.

 

Great save from Bertrand on the line at the end. I couldn't see him there, so it looked a dead cert even after a few replays. He's done that before as well....gets himself in the right spot.

From what I remember Jay was inches away from turning it in before Ryan popped up out of nowhere.

Dont try and make it seem as if we were the better side or that sterling scoring is a form of luck. They are the best team in the country and possibly Europe. Tought draw which we will most likely lose.

 

Assuming they beat Wigan then yes we have the toughest draw. But they are not invincible. We had plenty of chances to score before we actually did. They are not great at defending set pieces. We will need luck on our side and we will need to take our chances to win. But they're not even in the quarter finals yet. Strange things happen in football.

 

I'm going to Wigan v city on Monday so this makes it much more interesting!

 

If Romeu can put one past them anyone can. Winnable game.
