b) watford was seriously second best for large parts but firmino and windy floged goals of mad set piece positioning.

c) hoffenhiem were dross. I was delighted seeing them hoof it at moreno all game

d) palace was a good grind it out result for us but it was against the then worst team in league

e) arsenal were absolutely useless in set up and we ate them alive.

one might argue VVD coming in has improved on the then side hugely. plus coutinho had a "back" injury

1-2 down again (again they are better side for most of half)

There was a period when the results were a bit iffy. We haven't lost many, but there have been a few too many draws.

 

#reality is we win the game if the correct decision is made, just like Spurs

The argument that if a team plays ok for a bit but create no #legit opportunities then they deserve a bad decision in their favour is BS

5 wins out of 5 is perfection. If you'd be sat here whinging about conceding 2 in a 3-2 win then you can **** right off. Imagine watching the City win and your first thought is "Wow I can't believe we conceded 3 goals"

I am pointing out the context of that game. plus perfection is in the eye of the beholder

plus it'd be more accurate to say (and i think most would agree on here) that you don't sit watching LFC thinking anything but i hope we get another couple of goals here cos the other shoe is bound to drop before the end. Hopefully VVD is changing that with his organisation.

I believe if you look back to the seville 3-3 i was counting down the time before we conceded and saying we can't lose this one now at 3-2 up. which ended of course 3-3.

 

no trophies. plus irrelevant to prediction made pre season still.

 

I do believe that's the way some think.
After all, there were even some who said we weren't all that good when we won 5-0 away in a CL tie against a generally decent side.

you can only play who is in front of you. TBH i was quite bored after 60mins of that game cos there was nothing to it. We never got out of 3rd gear and won 5-0.

 

I was bored too. I was bored in the second half of the Saints game as well. It doesn't mean we weren't good, it just means that the adrenalin associated with our usual style of brinkmanship was lacking.

 

I note in all this nobody has denied that every item i have posted about our situation was true though.
