Someone needs to have a word with N'tcham. Why he's taken responsibility for set-pieces is beyond me. I haven't seen him deliver one decent cross in the past three games. Other than that he's been looking good. Some of the statistics for last night's game are mind-blowing. Some will say that Zenit haven't played for two months but we have to go through the same thing every summer trying to qualify for the CL by playing teams 10-15 games into their season.

Also, I see Lokomotiv Moskow went to Nice and won 3-2 last night. Clearly, the winter break hasn't affected them too badly.

There you have it. BR blames poor defending. The "dogs in the street" knew our defence needed strengthened over two transfer windows and little was done.
I fear BRs honeymoon period may be coming to an end and he needs to up his game too.

Not much to add - poor show tonight but how much of that is down to BR's tactics? Team only came to life in some sort of pretence at upping their game when the match was beyond us. Lustig should be replaced immediately - he's been shot for some time now ... and just what does BR see in De Vries as a goalkeeper - he's been dodgy from day one? I could go on but its over and done with and hopefully lessons learned - lets see the reaction come Sunday.

ordinary to say the least. lots of possession but no penetration at all.

need 2 cb's (one if Compper is any good) a keeper and a right back

need a bit of a clear out as well.

no more excuses for piss poor performances in the spfl. Need to lay a marker down now in the final 11 games
