Conte has not been fired. RA has NOT backed his players against his Manager Players have had a decent rest. Some kind of sanity is starting to emerge. Will it be enough to beat West Brom? I expect to see a big improvement, though that shouldn't be difficult , and a return to winning ways. Three positions are tricky in my opinion, LB, CB and Midfield, the rest pick themselves Willy Courtois has been hopeless and is still whingeing about Real, the sooner he goes the better. Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger Christensen can NOT have fully recovered from a hamstring in that time frame, and Cahill just needs to be dropped. Moses Alonso Kante and ?????? Fabregas gives us attack but poor defence, Drinkwater too little of everything, Barkley nothing so far. Ampadu could be the surprise but does Conte have the courage? So Fabregas with Ampadu to sub ASAP if necessary. Willian Giroud, Hazard.

They were all much better today, Christensen is looking very assured and has started to put more attack into his game, he's doing really well. Fabregas played some excellent passes to the front men, Zappacosta looked more involved, as did Moses,who needs more practice with his passing. Pedro was direct and dangerous and Giroud and Morata looked the business. No dud performances, but why oh why did Cahill get a run instead of Luiz??? Well done to all, by games end we were zipping along nicely.

Sack him for what Stan? More importantly for who? Roman, if he is to replace him at all will wait till the end of the season where certain options will become available. Pulling the trigger now would only serve to be destructive. You are showing an alarming lack of comprehension of the situation and as the team showed last night albeit after a shaky start controlled the game comfortably enough to show that they are very much on board with Tony.
He is daring them to sack him, because quite frankly I dont think he gives a **** at this stage whether they sack him or not, he has been so ill-treated by our club I am surprised he hasn't said "**** the money" and gone of his own volition. At the end of the day, and it is true of Jose too, if the board is not going to buy into a managers vision, despite evidence to suggest he knows what the **** he is talking about (We are still the PL Champions by the way), then it is time to part ways. No point keeping him on if you are just going to impede him and throw up obstacles every ****ing step of the way. What IS clear though, and what is different about when Jose was sacked, is that the players seem behind Conte, even if he is becoming jaded, the players are still playing for him, which is good news.
Spot on the situation. The Board is both the problem and the solution, and I think there is the tiniest glint that RA might be starting to see the red light that has been flashing in his eyes for 15 years. Normally the Manager would be lying on a beach somewhere counting his severance millions by now, and reading through the offers from Top Clubs for next season. But Conte is still here and the Players are with him. That makes a change. Our transfer system is in tatters, Emanelo gone, and no one capable of fixing it. Maria is nothing more than an accountant who negotiates prices down. The result is Barkley, Drinkwater, Bakayoko on the one hand and Michy , Musonda ,Abraham and Loftus Cheek putting in for other Clubs. Meanwhile RAs' wallet is missing over 200mill, and we are fighting to stay in top 4. Hardly an endorsement of good governance. Let's hope some sanity prevails, Conte stays next season, and we sell the mediocrity, save their huge salaries, and bring in the 2 or 3 players + youngsters ,we actually need to up our overall quality.
Dont understand , Don't get it how you can absolve Conte of everything. Conte is culpable as much if not more than the board. Jose is mugging at OT. Conte wants to follow Jose and mug our Board too?? We had quality players who are better than the ones which are brought in. Still Conte signed up to sell them. How in the farking world we can buy quality in this day & age?? CFC are hardly 4th or 5th biggest in the country. How can we outbid or outbuy moneybags?? Conte is also reason for this mess.
Conte is responsible for putting ,shall we say, unusual teams out and playing people out of form etc. Of that I have no doubt. He is also responsible for unending moaning, protesting too much, and creating a bad atmosphere. He has managed some players very poorly and in doing so, has weakened the Teams chances. Why is the big question?? Because the Board has not lived up to their agreement with him after he delivered what he was contracted to do. That simple. And he is in the position of being able to pressure the board like no other, because he has nothing to lose ,literally. Fire him, he collects a small fortune, and he is at PSG or Real in 2 mins. In failing to keep their word, the Board has done nothing to help Conte. Conte agreed to the sale of players on the understanding THE BOARD WOULD BE BRINGING IN PLAYERS CONTE ASKED FOR, TO PROPERLY REPLACE THEM. Instead they bought discards and ordinary players, they weakened the squad and sabotaged Contes chances of further success. How can they afford quality these days? Not spend 200mill on mediocrity, Alex Sandro could have been ours for 60mill, we wouldn't pay. That's why so many are with Conte and against the Board despite bad work on both sides.

Michy is a kid. Strikers crave confidence. I blame Conte for Batshit's apathy. He is banging them in Germany in his first 3 starts. 5 goals. If Conte can make Moses play like Cafu, why cannot he coach Michy? And yes Fabregas over Willian in few games and few games only.
They play a different system. Batshit has all the ball control of Lukaku but worse and has the physical presence of a 3 stone dwarf. His goals so far came against Koln from six yards out unmarked. Hamburg a tap in from three yards unmarked and one half decent strike from just inside the box with the defender backing off giving him more space than the Mojave desert. Atalanta are pish and he got yet another unmarked goal from 6 yards. Batshit may be a late developer but as yet is not premier class...END OF.
