This year there's been an average of 3 school shootings a week in America. Bunch of ****ing fruit cakes with guns - what could go wrong?
It will only end once people high up in the NRA or NRA supporting members of congress are personally affected by such incidents.
I don't think in that scenario it would make any difference to their ingrained views on gun laws and the right to bear arms. Maybe if someone offed Trump and his family there'd be a senate meeting with coffee and donuts to discuss it.
If some gun control extremist group started offing all pro-gun politicians they'd soon be too scared to support the NRA. The very definition of irony.
When you're 16 you should get a gun through the post. Similar to us getting national insurance numbers. If everyone has a gun to protect themselves the shootings will soon stop.
But it should be done in stages. Like say, at 16 you get an WW2 Luger, for minimal damage. Then as each birthday passes you have the right to buy something slightly more lethal each year.
Some good can come out of this I think this incident will provide me with some great material for a new track
I don't think giving everybody a gun is enough. What if somebody forgets their gun one day and they need to stop an attack. Maybe they should put guns in a glass cabinet like fire extinguishers over here, where you break the glass and take out the assault rifle in case of an emergency. That will solve the problem.
