Here is the list of new road tax charges. They are charging more for expensive cars, but I think they should charge by size of wheel base. I hate the current trend for Chelsea tractors....they are a real hazard on narrow roads (and the Island is full of those) and they are usually driven by idiots. It has been shown that the safer you feel the more dangerously you drive....and sod everyone else. And they are a pain in car parks...taking up too much room and impossible to see round. Any law and tax changes should have only one aim....reduce the size of cars.
