Sad news and a real shame, I hope Ryan stays in the game whether it be in a coaching capacity or TV work, we could do with some more Yiddos in football punditry.

Here's a sentence that I'm pretty sure I've never used before:
    Classy from Stoke:

I'm so glad to see Pochettino reached out to him. That was a wonderful thing to do. I'm gutted for Ryan Mason. It was a terrible stroke of bad luck that ended his career. But I think and hope he'll take some comfort in accomplishing things that almost everyone can only dream of. There have been better players but I'm not sure anyone had Spurs in their heart more than Ryan Mason. He'll always have a place in our hearts.

The last bit attributed to MP is wrong. It's not....

"Don’t worry Ryan, you’re going to be a successful person outside of the club.”

    What he actually said was...

Don't worry Ryan, you're going to be a successful person outside the pitch! No doubt about it."

Classless publication The Standard. The club are obviously looking to offer him a role and they make it look like we're showing him the door to the street.

Cheeky little secret about him - in his younger years he was a Chelsea fan! Lol.

Two of my best mates were good friends with him back in the day as they all went Cheshunt school but as years went by and as he rose through the ranks at Spurs, it became the only club in his heart.

WARNING: This post contains positive comments about an Arsenal player.

I've just been reading this about the current Goon goalkeeper and how he treated Mason throughout his injury:
    http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/ryan...ech-for-head-injury/19ep2x9rd7b71utik80hjp8xg
He posted this yesterday after the news came out:

Nice to see Graham Roberts showing his appreciation, too:

He must have a really strong character to have spent so much time at Chelsea and Arsenal and still be a decent person! <laugh>

Don't worry, SD, Mason's 100% a lilywhite. Was just young and stupid when he was a child.

I don't watch the show but apparently Ryan was on soccer am. Said that if he does go down the coaching route, Spurs is in his DNA and would come here if the door is open (which we know it is as Poch said so). Would be awesome to have around the place, maybe he could work under Scotty Parker?

This is why we're a special club. A Bournemouth player shares a moment with a Hull player and it's all down to us.
