Yeah, the first one. They didn't show an offside angle until halftime, as the director's local. He's clearly off, for me, with nobody interfering with the linesman's view. Poor decision, but we can't rely on the officials in games like these.
The only worry I have is that surely Juventus can’t be as bad as that in the second half (despite the score line).
First one nothing like as bad as second. Davies has been solid since and recovered well, considering the psychological effect of that happening so soon in the game. Aurier however is a different story.
Imagine the ref awarding a penalty for a “foul” on Dele. Absolute scenes. Twitter would be a beautiful place tonight.
It was offside but I’m not going to complain. We have had some decisions go our way recently and it was just poor defending all round
From the BBC: Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier completed more passes in the first half (97) than all Juventus players together (93). Very Italian. They can afford to let us have the ball when they're 2-0 up. Think they fell back too much and overdid it a bit, though.
Aurier giving another silly foul away and he's in the book. How that's worse than the cynical one on Alli thirty seconds earlier is beyond me, though.
