We had multiple chances to kill the game off, we dominated the midfield from start to finish.

Weirdly I noticed Marshall a lot more today and thought he did alright. Fosu was MoM for me though.

Doncaster committed plenty of fouls, so I assume the game itself was pretty full-on.
Passionate away support is also good to hear about, but a pity if it descended into fighting between rival fans.

These sound like signs that the life has not been completely drained out of us by the Belgian.
Once he is finally gone I hope there is a resurgence of fans both home and away the likes of which we have not seen in a generation.

I don’t think we have got the consistency or the mental strength to get promoted. In players like Kashi & Fosu we have more talent & flair than just about about anything in this league, but as witnessed again yesterday we are so naive & fallible at the back.
Konsa is going through a rough patch and Da Silva (POTY?) will be a massive loss in the summer.

I think some criticism has to go to Robinson, he seems to disrupt the team by making these substitutions. Yes mental toughness of the players comes into it but if we are bossing the game just carry on doing what we are doing. When the new owners come in I think he will be gone. They will probably give him to the end of the Season.

He (KR) is just not good enough DP.

Accepting the restrictions he has worked under, every one of our starting 11 was better than their Doncaster counterpart yesterday.

The reality is we are 7th in a league of minnows - we have the right to be in the top 2. It’s called ambition & understanding the history of our club. KR isn’t managing minnow MKD any longer.

I suspect this season is going to end at Rochdale in a Play Off “near miss”...in which case I and many other fans will be giving Robinson a not so cheery “f*ck off” at full time.

Jean Huelin collected nearly £400 at half time yesterday from Charlton fans for the boy with cancer. Hats off to her.

Frst off, hats off to Jean Huelin for the collection, and to those who gave - a real good moment.

As usual, I wasn't there so my comments are based on following text update. Once again, this sounded horribly like a manager who cannot see a game out. It's been a regular suggestion that mucking about with the defence in the last few minutes simply disrupts things just when you want to keep the ship steady. There has been some criticism of Lennon, but he was basically thrown into a silly situation by a manager who seems to be playing favourite's too often. Dropping Aribo and sending KAG out on loan when both were showing a bit of form is a silly bit of man management, as is the persistence with the misfiring Magennis. The general comments on the match are that we palyed well enough, so it seems unfair to attack the team as I'm sure they were as gutted as the fans who paid to travel up and watch that last minute disaster. I expect that if we win tomorrow night (big big if but anyway...) I'll be among those celebrating KR and his management, but really, we are about where this manager would expect to be - just outside the play offs with little prospect of being there at the end of the season. On paper we are better tha both Oxford and Doncaster, so I guess that is where the expression 'paper tiger' comes from. Was I surprised when all the comments on saturday went sour in the 93rd minute? No, just exasperated. It keeps F%&/·$&ng happening.
