Keeper was outstanding (might have mentioned him in other thread). Great debut. Gayle was ok but I find him frustrating. He never really challenges for the ball. Even Perez had good moments. Yedlin was the black sheep - he looked dodgy all day

Unless he started playing like Messi then it won't be allowed (and probably won't be deserved to be fair). FA would be having fits if he was picked after the guilty verdict on the racism charge.

I wouldn’t have Shelvey anywhere near England. He had a good game. Singular.

Dubravka- unreal. Those big jumps for collecting balls at corner seemed to have more of a mental affect them credit given.

Shelvey- literally best Ive seen him in black and white, and yet there were no hollywood balls!

Gayle defensively was so on-points its untrue. Aside from the two crucial blocks I saw him make more defensive headers than he has collectively in his career.

Mo Diame, what. A. ****in. Man! Who knew all he had to do was sit back n pass. Like Sissoko on whizz and ritalin that llad

Lascelles/Lejuene saved us from the same fate we woukd most expect from Clark/Lascelles.

All round goodness, and if people try and suggest they can't feel the
warm glow in their balls tonight,
    I know they're lying

Oh there were mate. He kicked a couple into no mans land first half. Tried a couple of cross field passes the full backs cut out with ease.

It’s just his overall performance made them easy to forgive and forget.

Dubravka was unbelievably good. He was shouting, organizing and drilling the defence. He was key to the defence. Lejeune looked top, top quality. Him and Lascelles were rocks.

Diame. **** me. Best game for us period. Shelvey - unreal.

Anyone else slightly annoyed that we are where we are when you consider that the team is capable of a performance like that.

In some respects yes, but how many points has Darlow cost us with his cock ups?

I'd suggest about 4 or 5 - in which case we'd be sitting far easier in about 10th and with a nice gap over the sides in the bottom 3

Think Dubravka made a huge difference today

It’s always the way. However the quality of the players mean they struggle to replicate that every week. That is the difference with top players. They put it in week in week out.

Another reason it is disappointing that Rafa will not play Haidara.
