Must be a near endless list of loan keepers to add to this list. Right from the time management cottoned on that Hesford was steaming pile of ****e we've had dozens of em. Lee Butler. Loaned from villa. Was decent enough. Came back several years later for someone like Halifax. I called him a fat bastard and felt pretty bad about it afterwards. Summat Gibson we got from Man United?. Remember nowt about him. Kuipers. Think he wore tracky bottoms.
Butler was pretty good. Dearden from Spurs was a good loan GK too from that same period, think he ended up at Brentford.
Paul Gibson, he jacked in football and went on to be an assistant headmaster at an international school in Qatar.
How can you have Jamie Cass? He must’ve played about twice tops and I’d be surprised if he ever started. That’s not what this thread is about. HHH and Imperislbhave got it spot on with Jason Harris and Mike Quigley.
He once won the motd goal of the month comp at City He had some good seasons with pompey and cardiff. He qualified as a physio and the last time i looked he had a business in Cardiff
I knew GS from my time working in York. A decent Jack the Lad type from Greatfield...I know he played for Carlisle and Plymouth and York City, but did he ever play for City's first team.
Cheers...I knew he played for Hull Schoolboys with the likes of Steve Rouse, who played semi-pro for Scarborough under Appleton. Never knew he played for City's 1st team
