Your updates are like a gold mine though to people like me who live out of the country ... ta a lot Bri!
Watched the highlights this morning and I thought Camp wasn't to blame for any of the goals, the defence was but he wasn't. As unlikely as it sounds I don't think he's put a foot wrong yet despite conceding five.
Was talking to an Everton fan yesterday and said the same thing about Pickford. Everton have conceded loads but he’s been probably their best signing. Looking at the highlights above I thought their first was offside although haven’t seen a cross pitch angle. Cam not at fault for any of them. Someone said early in the thread they can’t remember watching us concede and simply saying “yeah, good goal” it’s always an error! Annoyed no as hell
That line-up graphic is wrong - Jones was on the right. You can clearly see him out of position jogging back on the right hand side for City's 2nd and 3rd goals
I was going to rip into him after seeing the highlights but then he puts in a perfect cross for Catts, on his left foot no less, which kick started the comeback so I let him off to an extent.
Interesting to see how much Catts was involved in their penalty box. Much more than I can recall him ever being so before.
Thanks Bri.....yesterday was a great result. Never really had time for negativity....never gets you anywhere. We just need to get that 4th bottom spot at the moment and live to fight another day. The reality of the situation is that if we get that it's hopefully increases the chances of Short selling up as he will get a better price for us in the Championship than in the 1st Division. Every cloud there is a silver lining....
Happy clappy....lol....good one mate! All our roads in life take different directions and I see there are many expats on this site plus fans that live outside the area are they all happy clappers as well?. I'm a lad who grew up in Boldon/Cleadon in a council house without two pennies to rub together. My passion for my club has never diminished over the 60 years of my life. Yes, I watch all the games on tv except this season of course and it spoils my Saturday night we get f*cked. In 60 years have we had much success? Odd times right in 1973 when I was there....but in the main there hasn't been a lot to shout about. Traveled to many away games in the old second division and watched us get taken apart many, many times....this just comes with the territory supporting our team. Just because I live 6,000 miles my passion for my club remains the same as when I lived 5 miles away. I think you are one of the best posters on this forum and enjoy your input. I understand a lot of the frustrations that come with our club. I just tend to look at the positives rather than the negatives....let's just move on to the Brentford game and get the result we are looking for and the momentum we need now to get us away from the bottom three.....haway the lads!!!
What a great picture mate.....you can see the passion in his face. Should have that picture in the tunnel so the lads can see it before they go on the pitch. Kevin Ball would run through brick walls for our club....I sense that is what CC is trying to put that together now with clearing the sh*t out.....not to mention any names.....Rodwell, N'Dong and cronies....
Just as well that 3rd one went in cos fletchers miss.....bloody hell! The keeper pulled off a good save but shouldn't have been given a chance.
Asoro beat Bryan badly 1v1, to deliver that cutback, which just about nutmegged the goal scorer. Noteworthy because, Bryan is a reported NUFC summer target.
Read Sixers match report on Salut Sunderland mate, its always a good read and catches the mood as only he can.
