Probably because of his age mate, I feel the same. Presumably he was fit as a fiddle and we all try but we aren't as healthy as him. Like you say just try to enjoy every day and appreciate what we have.

Dear god no! Jesus that's awful!

Hadn't seen that in the news.

Sincerest best wishes to his family.

    RIP young man!

    Edit

    Just seen the other thread.

I'm genuinely stung from hearing that.

Tragic, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst prognosis-wise.

It's odd how it makes you think. I'm 36 myself with 3 kids, that poor family. As ^^ says '36 is nothing', he was finally had time to spend more with his family. RIP.

I had a life threatening illness at 36 and survived thanks to luck and our science. Tonight I have been reflecting on what has happened since I survived.
I got a decent job, watched my son grow up, said goodbye to my parents, and saw my son get married.
I now have some lovely grandchildren.
RIP Liam Miller so much you missed and should not have.
My heart also goes out to his family.

That's how my mate Chill died.
That's two sons his mother has buried now due to the same disease.

I didn't realise, I know you've had loss but didn't know the extent. It's terrible that you and your family have had to go through that, I can't claim to empathise but you have as much sympathy and understanding as someone who hasn't gone through it can manage. My uncle died of pancreatic cancer and the only positive I can say from it was that at least he got time to say his goodbyes and attempt to leave on his own terms.

No worries mate, you've said nowt wrong.
Pancreatic is a twat. Basically once you have it your days are numbered.
    There is no cure.
I think it's genetic with Chill's family as it's only affecting the males.
He has one brother left who wont go to get tested because he says there's no point.
'If I have it, I have it & I'll take the consequences. They can't do anything about it anyway.'
My dad died of lung cancer. My Janie died of colon cancer.
There is no God because if there was he wouldn't put such evil **** as this on the face of the earth.
And even if he does exist, he's a ****.

We have to keep on donating to cancer research, recently put my late father's clothes in charity bags and hundreds of pounds worth as well including shoes he would have wanted that. Everything I donate will be going to that charity. My mother got it near her gall bladder 15 years ago.
