In truth, I probably predicted it 6 years ago. I have a thread dedicated to this very subject, on the Prem board. It's all there. And as obvious as people now (bravely) say the shift was, no one was talking openly about it on the Prem board, not even three years ago. I was roundly ridiculed and pilloried for starting that thread.
If he stays with us for the next few years he's basically nailed-on to be be my all-time favourite Spurs player - that's how I'm seeing it. Premier League Legend status is his for the taking if he keeps doing what he's doing.
Shows how far we have come we rested a star player Toby and let young ledley take care of the goons.oh and we didn't even need our new signing either
When the full squad is not match fit, or our rivals are playing Poor Officials or Gifted Penalty, you are first on the Spurs606 team sheet. But when the full squad is match fit, leave it to the RDBD and watch in comfort from the bench.
Only saw the 2nd half, but that was a crushingly controlled performance, and the Goons deserved nothing from the result. The only critique is that the finishing was unacceptably wasteful, and more clinical attack is a must in the quest for upwards progression.
The Goon disposal job is half done. A win at Palace is a must, and that will put them 10 pts behind ready for their next PL game against ... Citeh.
Just watched the post match reaction on BT sport (You Tube) Rio, Neanderthal, and Jenas. The whole thing was about Arsenal and what's wrong with them rather than what's right with Spurs. You might as well be watching Arsenal fan TV, which is more fun anyway.
What I love about Lamela is that he's half cultured and full of outrageous tricks, and half Jungle Jim Loscutoff.
Thrashed them 1-0 Great performance from everyone. Dembele's finally looking consistently like the player he was in the last 2 seasons, which is a big relief. Bring on Juve.
This bloke starts off saying he can't be angry any more, by the end he's frothing, foaming, rabid......
Just seen the Davies cross again, absolutely perfect. He's been incredible this season, I had doubts about whether he's good enough after the Liverpool away game last season but he's shut me up. Only downside was our finishing, can't afford to miss so many chances when we come up against the big teams.
