Yes, but in Hull a lot of kids can't go to night games at is too late for the little dears. FC fans said switching to Friday nights cost them fans as it was too late for kids, and that is on a night where there is no school next day.
please log in to view this image I must say they've done well this year, not ****ed about with anything. please log in to view this image nice detailing with the cross
I do like that cross detailing on the shirt, looks a bit like (BCC will like this) the Inter away kit from a few years back. please log in to view this image Also I think Serbia had a similar cross on their kit at a recent tourney. Mayybe 2010 WC.
I’ve got the Inter centenary shirt depicting the St George Cross of Milan. It’s pretty rare and collectible these days.
It isn't the Saint George Cross. It is the cross of St Ambrose, the patron saint of Milan. This came up at the time when, as usual, some Muslims got upset and said it was upsetting them because it was a reminder of the Crusades.
There’s a really good mock up of what would be the best England shirt ever on #bringenglandbacktoumbro. I’d put an image on here but it’s beyond my skill set. It’s a modern version of the ‘82 shirt. It’s superb.
Yeah it was a joke... I’m fully aware of Ambrose. When Mussolini was in charge he insisted Inter be renamed Ambrosinia due to his dislike of foreigners and they adopted said cross imagery for the home kit. This was why it was brought back as the centenary away kit.
The bottom one would look great on a lass with nice Tay Tays. That's just given me a great mental image/memory of this lass in linett and lark a few years back in the grey euro '96 shirt, mmmmm
Mussolini also made AC Milan go back to the Italian spelling of Milano. Like Inter they went back to their original name after the war. Then the season after the defeat to Celtic they must have spoken to a very young Assem Allam as they shortened their name to Football Club Internazionale Milan Franco did a similar thing regarding English spellings making Athletic Bilbao alter to Atletico, which they altered back again after he died.
Red white and blue...Reminds me of when England fans used to wave union flags instead of our national flag.
For those that haven't seen it, Nigeria's World Cup kit is a ****ing beaut. please log in to view this image
