Whilst AN might have had the final say on who we signed. He wouldn't be the one identifying, scouting and communicating with the players, agents etc. This would have been done by a range of people at the club. I don't believe its any coincidence that under AN's reign we appear to have been pretty good at identifying and subsequently signing younger developing players, whereas we didn't do particularly well signing experience / established players. It's the people who were behind the process that either need to be sacked or given a pat on the back. Indeed it seems that the more knowledge AN had of the players the more they struggle i.e. Naismith, Andreu etc

I believe I'm right in thinking that there has been a MASSIVE change in our scouts -with several being sacked and MOST of the remainder based in Germany now, but from what I've heard, Leitner appears to be a VERY shrewd signing, even if it is only until the end of this season and Hernandez looks promising. Edit - I see Tettey is in 'contract talks' with NCFC, so if a new deal is agreed and IF Thompson is fit before training/new season starts, will we see Godfrey go on loan again/sold???? I thought he had lots of potential when I've seen him play. I'm SURE I'm not alone in agreeing with you and would shave approx £1.5M off the wage bill - or enough to buy 2/3 players from Bundesliga II. (Don't tell FML I said that!!)
Yea. Farke was late to his Presser, because he was talking to the medical team. From Bailey: "DF confirms the foul on Saturday damaged his ankle ligaments, and the fall on him damaged his knee. No surgery but 2.5months out. DF hopes Trybull can make the last few games, but knows it’s not too likely."
When is our luck going to change?? We seem to suffer a lot from long time injuries. It seems more prominant today than years ago.
