Look at all the daft wazzocks moaning about the scarves thing. Doing exactly what the Allams want like well trained little lapdogs. Divide and conquer
Why the unnecessary insult Mr Bob? The discussion is, to my mind at least, informed and reasonable given what has happened tonight. Is it that any opinion that is objective unsettles you? MoH
Christ on a ****ting bike. Well. I’m done now. 100% If you haven’t already, join the ****ing Trust. Oh and stop arguing about the bastard scarves.
I think we are missing the point here. We need the concessions changing and the name, however it still doesn’t touch Ehabs grand plan. He wants out he’s taking all the money with him. We’ve had two meetings of which naff all has been sorted. It’s all crap, stringing us all along and playing us for fools. I certainly won’t be happy even if he did let kids in cheaper and change the name, as essentially non of all this will matter when he’s sat on millions of pounds and we are in the National League.
Scarf Gate? I couldn’t care less about whether they were offered scarves or not. Clearly they couldn’t care less either because if we believe what Ehab says (yeah...I know) then despite the scarf offer they were just about to sort the badge, start using the club’s actual name, reintroduce concessions and resolve world hunger...until they got upset by an article in the paper that they thought was threatening. Well boo hoo There’s been plenty of things said and done by the owners that the Trust could be saying they are upset about, but Geoff was still prepared to meet them despite nothing being done of any substance since November to resolve three issues that could be resolved quicker than it’s taken me to hammer this into my phone They’ve no intention of resolving anything anyway, so nothing’s lost
Here's a simple question: did GB proffer the Allam Out scarves to one, or both Allams, as a gift from him, the Trust or someone else?
Our club is in the relegation zone and could be relegated whilst the sorry saga of what we are called and the lack of concessions continues. The Allams agreed to meet the supporters because of the protest at the Forest match. The cause of that protest hasn't gone away it continues to simmer. It remains a gun to their heads. A gun that resulted in two meetings with supporters, including the Trust. The solution to our off the field problems is straightforward. Use the name Hull City and reintroduce concessions. We've had two meetings and for most supporters nothing has changed. Well that's not really true because we've had the transfer window and one signing and one loan signing. On the twin cancers that are eating away at the clubs innards nothing very much has happened. The club still doesn't use our name in any meaningful way and we are no closer to the reintroduction of concessions then we were at the Forest game. Tonight they walked away from the meeting because of a threatened protest at the Sheffield United match. The Allams had two proposals on the table from the last meeting proposed by the Trust on the name guidelines and concessions. Grown ups would have ignored the threat and got down to the business of sorting our club out. Instead they walked away. They know as well as I do that if they seriously address the name and the question of concessions any protest at the Sheffield United match would be a damp squib. They have had plenty of time to consider the Trust's proposals and start the process of implementing them. My conclusion is, despite the threat and the Allam Out scarves they had no serious intention of doing anything to heal the divide between themselves and the supporters. Yet another wasted opportunity can be chalked off.
The meeting has been postponed. Concessions still on the table Crest still on the table Use of the name all bar AFC still on the table. Nothing has been withdrawn just postponed and yet it’s all doom and gloom. And anyone who knows me will understand that I always look for the positives as the negatives just weigh down life.
