Hull City owners told to act after latest fans' meeting or risk renewed protests https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...014#ICID=Android_HullDailyMailNewApp_AppShare
I'm now waiting for the Allams to call the meeting off as they do not respond to threats. That is how they will see this article anyway, though I agree with what Geoff says.
and if you read the comments, there's still fans who stick up for the Allams and blame the fans who protest for the demise of the club
The first time Burnley came up with us, they invested the extra money on infrastructure. A new training ground, etc (some should have probably gone on the stadium too) rather than a load of expensive players. They done it all brilliantly - yoyoing.
I'm sure there are still one or two out there who are quite happy munching on the Allam **** sandwich but, the comments sections in local newspapers are open for supporters of other clubs/sports to spread their mischief, I'd take them with a pinch of salt - I remember some years back, one of the CI lads wrote a letter to the Hull Daily Mail praising a supposed group of FC fans for showing him and his friends a good time trawling around the 'gay' haunts of the town.
He said it on the telly ffs. "In 24 hours I will be gone. I give you my word and everyone who knows me will tell you, I am a man of my word".
I think there could still be hundreds if not thousands who still think the council should have given them the stadium, the name change was a good idea and supporters should keep their noses out of the business of running a football club and that those supporters caused the current mess.
You should try the City Fans Forum on Facebook if you want to see Allam apologists at work. Frightening.
It was one of the funniest things I've ever read, the rebuttals written by the egg chasing fraternity made it all the funnier.
The Allams won't leave Until they pocket next season's parachute money and sell everyone worth a few £££ Imo
Guy i have regular debates with (to the point I have to walk away) reckons they’ve hardly had any money back. He backs them whatever, even though they’ve cancelled his oap discount and moved his seat. He’s adamant the balance sheet shows they’ve not had much back
Could not agree more, pocket next seasons parachute payment, get rid of the ten who they have not offered he contracts to, send back loans, sell any others they can, Bowen to a lower premier club or another championship club, if any others can bring anything in they will accept. We will more than likely go down and end up with a couple of the present team, may be add a couple of freebies and the rest made up from the present under 23 side. Think they may then leave but will they do so by putting us into this part time ownership they have mentioned which to be honest I don't really fully understand. Supporters have left, protests have happened and will again but will it make them leave, no chance not until they are ready and have received that next big parachute payment. Let's see what comes of tomorrow's meeting because they will either call it off for another delay, not agree with the supporters in which case I can see it accelerating the protests or shock us with something none of us thought about. At the end of the day all we want to do is go has one and support the eleven wearing black and amber no wonder everything is such a struggle at the moment.
It will be interesting to know what they will get. Some think they're in **** street and haven't got it back. Others reckon they're pocketing 40 million. No idea myself how it's going to work out
