Some ladies choose to be escorts, topless (and sometimes bottomless) models, glamour models, fashion models, Exotic dancers, strippers and so on. As long as it's their choice of career and providing they are not being pimped or kept in slavery etc then long may it continue in a fair minded and considered society. The adult entertainment industry worldwide most employ hundreds of thousands (or possibly millions) of men and women. And will the current idiots raising these issues objectify blokes in the same way and not be satisfied until they make everyone in the industry unemployed. Then what about the millions in the audience and/or participants that want to see, watch, or partake ?
The thing is if this is step 1, what's the ultimate goal? You can't get rid of everything. Ban gambling, escorting, prostitution, etc however you like, it's still gonna happen, just in a much more unsafe environment. Drugs laws in themselves just prove how little understanding the Government has of them, both from a scientific point of view (their classifications are nonsensical) and from a societal point of view.
a large number of the opposite sex .. so that's male or female viewed from that perspective carry 2 jobs! The prim little receptionist doing 8-5 once or twice a week goes pole dancing or.... likewise.. the heavily muscled manual worker doing his shift then a night or 2 as a stripper! or..... it is a choice, in the animal world birds and animals have an us and them .... to complex to go into but I am sure everyone on here has watched nature programmes.
I'm just getting fed up with posh pushy woman taking over the world, you see it on BBC TV, BBC Sport, Radio 5 live, I have listened to Today on Radio 4 this week and every program is like listening to Woman's Hour, it's dull, it's boring and it's pure PC, a load of old crap, consequently I turn it off. I believe in the right people for the right job, if you're good enough, the right appeal, fit the criteria, you get the job, equal pay for all for doing the same job, regardless of dangly bits, on the chest or between your hips. I have never frequented strip clubs, brothels or ladies of the night but if that's what people want surely it's their choice, lady or men escorts, beauty belles, nobbly knee contest it's for the individual to decide, respect, choice and equality for all is my choice.
Agree with most of your points , can't see what any of it has to do with "grid girls" being stopped , completely different in my view . I just feel times have moved on and they aren't relevant anymore. Prostitution & the adult entertainment industry have nothing to do with it , and the rights or wrongs of it is a completely different issue imo
Can you remember the two Ronnies, the scene where the women took over the world.....Seems like that's how, some want it to go!!
We live in a world which has become increasingly protective of women’s rights amongst a lot of other stuff under the banner of political correctness. The need for an adjustment of the balance between the treatment of both sexes is made glaringly obvious when one observes the divide in attitudes by the Western Civilisation’s progress and that of some of the attitudes of countries in the Middle East and elsewhere. On the other hand are we now going too far? I (and Wiz) had first hand experience of the hysterical behaviour of young girl’s toward the young men who became burgeoning ‘popstars’ back in the day. These guys were elevated out of their often mundane jobs to overnight fame. As far as I know there were no mentors to guide these guys as to how they should handle the situation. So I get a bit confused by the validity of historical accusations of sexual misdemeanors which are currently the norm and all over the media,
